I love these tiles! I got the Mountain Mist color. The pictures on the site look like the tiles are a solid color, but they are actually speckled. They were so easy to put down and they look wonderful in my basement! You can't expect them to feel like a plush, padded carpet because they aren't. The padding is only about 1/4" thick, but they are perfect for basements! The seams are barely visible. We noticed that they seemed to be more visible when we weren't careful about getting the carpet fibers out of the way before putting the next tile down. It took us about 5 hours to do 500 square feet, start to finish.

Bought to do a bedroom. I'm a 67 year old woman & had no problem laying it. You do not see the seams, BUT you must lay it to match the seams. Glad it's not super sticky as I had to pull some up. It gradually sticks more with traffic. I was short two tiles & had to buy an additional box. Wish they sold samples. At least I know if I spill something or the dog has an accident, I have enough to replace area or switch with another tile in an unseen corner.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Merk So far so good...
Installed this over engineered hardwood on the first floor of our house. We had a runner in the hallway that never stayed in place and area rugs in the adjoining rooms. I used the tranquility mountain mist and bought a box of the tranquility toffee color to cut into 3" strips to use as a border. Very easy to install. Like other reviewers have said, you can see seams if you really search for them, but I'm pleased with the overall look. The tackiness of the adhesive seems more than adequate so far. Nothing has moved after a few days of a dog and 2 kid's use. It by no means is "high end" carpeting, but for the price, it looks and feels a lot better than I expected.

My boyfriend and I purchased a box of these carpet tiles before going ahead and ordering 1,000 sf of it. We decided to use carpet tiles so we could install portions of it at a time without having to move and store all of our furniture in a storage unit. We are very glad we only bought one box - the color is not what we were expecting. The yarn is multiple contrasting colors with shades of beige, dark brown and black. Attached are two pictures. The weight of the carpet seemed adequate for an inexpensive carpet tile and the carpet was quite soft. We are returning the box and will have to re-evaluate our options. Since we did not install it, I did not rate respond to those questions.

In my opinion...not sticky enough! Extremely satisfied with the quality and ease of installation. I used these to do my Class A RV and bought the double sticky carpet tape for the seams. Good decision on my part. If a motorhome is shut up and gets too warm any self stick tile will come undone, so the extra adhesion was necessary. On the console I used the heat resistant spray glue. I also installed the Pergo Ligoria Slate in the kitchen, they look great together. I would definately use these again!!!

I was very disappointed with this product. I didn't like it as soon as I pulled it out of the box, but we decided to give it a chance and install it in a closet just to try it out. Now I wish I had just returned it. The color was much darker than what it appears online and we chose one of the lightest colors. It has hardly any padding and I can feel the concrete subfloor underneath. It feels like I put down a cheap shag rug. I've had bathroom mats that felt better than this. The only way I would recommend this product is if you're installing it in an office or maybe a rent house. Other than that, don't waste your money.

We used these carpet squares for 2 bedrooms and a living room.
We looked at several you tube instruction videos before doing this and they were a big help.
It is very important to keep the carpet threads up so they don't touch the seams when laying this down.
The manufacturer needs to put more into quality control as we had minor problems with variance
in the size of the carpet squares. We got one box of squares that was a little lighter than the rest and didn't realize it until they were down. We did replace them and returned them asking that Home Depot notify the manufacturer of this problem with quality control/lighter color.
These squares seem great for carpet that takes a beating. If should be easy to pull up a square
and replace it when necessary.

These carpet tiles were a breeze it to install. We use them to finish off an attic bedroom And it was the perfect solution to hide the plywood flooring. Very user-friendly and quick to install. The adhesive backing was sufficient. When we first started placing the tiles I was nervous the adhesive wouldn't hold up. Seems like the longer we let it set, the better it adhered to the plywood. You can barely tell these are tiles and not wall to wall carpeting. We plan to redo the basement flooring using the same tiles.
