Three years ago when we decided to replace our floors I looking into have cheap carpet put in, but with 2 kids and 2 dogs I thought these would be perfect. Get a stain that wont come out, rip up that tile and put a new one down without having to replace the entire carpet. I was very happy with the installation and the way it looked for some time.
Now, 3 years and 2 weeks later, we are renovating our house once again, and there were a few tiles I decided I should replace. Unfortunately seeing the 3 year old tiles next to new tiles makes me realize how horribly these have worn. They look lifeless and stringy, no pad left to them. Of course this is just a few weeks after the 3 year wear warranty expired, I should have thought about it before it did.
Very disappointed in how they held up in just 3 years (even in places like under the dining room table that doesn't get used that often) and wished I would have gone with something else.

These carpet squares go down very easy. I did a 12x12 room in under an hour. It looks pretty good and is nice to walk on. You can see the seems if you look really close but overall has a very nice appearance for carpet tiles. The adhesive back has a good bond to the floor but still gives you some play to position the tiles. I plan on using this stuff for another bedroom. I added some pictures of the job before and after. I got a box with one tile that was a different shade, you can see it in the corner.

These tiles are a letdown for the money spent. I had 3 issues that made installation a painful process.
1) My boxes had different colors scattered throughout, but not enough for a pattern, just enough to draw attention to the defect.
2) The tiles were not cut straight, which led me to spend hours cutting straight edges with shears and blisters galore.
3) The carpet is unraveling where I had no choice but to correct crooked cuts.
I really think this product could be great, if they improved quality control. I'm left cringing that I spent $400+ for flooring I'm embarassed for guests to look too closely at!

These carpet squares were easy to install. We put them in our bedroom and just moved the furniture over as we went. They are a nice beige and you can see some of the "tiles" but most of it looks wall to wall. It was tricky cutting around the molding but I got better as I went along.

The idea of perfectly seamless tiles is a paradox really. With traditional carpet squares you normally alternate the pattern simply as a method of providing depth and interest to something that really can't be seamless, but in theory the pile on these tiles is supposed to make that a thing of the past. The problem, though, is getting these to line up perfectly square and tight. It takes a lot of patience and the willingness to occasionally have to pull up a tile that was not perfectly and precisely snug. Despite my efforts, I still see the occasional seams.
Seams aren't my real gripe though---durability is. 6 months on I'm seeing very obvious wear paths in the carpet. This has about the same level of crushing as the cheapest builder's grade carpet out there. And then there's the peeling! I'm not talking about the tile itself peeling up from the floor, but rather the carpet itself peeling up from the padding. This is especially true where corners happen to meet, and God forbid there's ever any kind of spill because any left over moisture obviously weakens the cheap adhesive that bonds the carpet to the backing.
Final verdict: I'm going to soon replace with the traditional low pile commercial tiles you might find in an office, library, etc.

I love these tiles! I got the Mountain Mist color. The pictures on the site look like the tiles are a solid color, but they are actually speckled. They were so easy to put down and they look wonderful in my basement! You can't expect them to feel like a plush, padded carpet because they aren't. The padding is only about 1/4" thick, but they are perfect for basements! The seams are barely visible. We noticed that they seemed to be more visible when we weren't careful about getting the carpet fibers out of the way before putting the next tile down. It took us about 5 hours to do 500 square feet, start to finish.

Bought to do a bedroom. I'm a 67 year old woman & had no problem laying it. You do not see the seams, BUT you must lay it to match the seams. Glad it's not super sticky as I had to pull some up. It gradually sticks more with traffic. I was short two tiles & had to buy an additional box. Wish they sold samples. At least I know if I spill something or the dog has an accident, I have enough to replace area or switch with another tile in an unseen corner.

I received this carpet after waiting over three weeks and 4 of the 10 carpet tiles were not usable! Three of the carpet squares had no backing and two of those three squares measured 21x22 instead of 24x24! The fourth square was cut at an angle with a big piece of it missing towards the end! Very disappointed!!
