When I looked for power washers I was thinking about getting one that would be "future proof" meaning I would have enough power to do ANY (normal) household job while it being nimble enough for my wife to use should she want to.
I looked at many electric and gas powered pressure washers and ended up buying this one due to is having a Honda motor and the great power and throughput measurements.
So far I have used the pressure washer for about 10 hours. I washed my pool deck, my driveway and my walkway. It starts very easily and has enough power to do any job that I can imagine. My wife enjoys using it, so much so when she washed off the pool deck this weekend she pulled the washer out to use it and got the job done very quickly.
One warning is that this has a LOT of power and when coupled with the nozzle that has the most concentrated beam is powerful enough to do damage to concrete and other porous surfaces. I made a nice dent in my concrete where I started using it.
Overall I am glad I spent the extra $100 and went for a gas driven powerhouse. Since it is on wheels it is actually easier to move around that some of the electric ones I have used that are not on wheels. While I would not want to try to move this power washer in the cab of my car, given the size and weight, this is not something I would be very likely to do anyway.

I have been using home style electric pressure washers for years but felt it time to move up to a gas powered one. This one delivers the power. So much so that cleaning smaller items can be a challenge.
Pros: 1) has lots of pressure 2) has several quick connect nozzles 3) has reliable metal connectors 4) the wand is sturdy and a nice length 5) engine starts easily
Cons: 1) the handle and clearance under it do not allow good movement 2) the wand rest is stupid at best 3) the nozzles will jump out of their holder during operation 4) the hose holder drops from the handle that is already too close to the ground so short loops are required for storage making the hose hard to secure
Bottom Line: This unit with the separate nozzles will take care of most big jobs and clean well; however, the amenities leave something to be desired. I added a strap to cover the nozzles in their holder to keep them there, bought quick connectors for the high pressure hose, added a rest on the frame for the wand under the muffler, and bent over the first wand rest on the handle and only use the second. I also added a strap to secure the upper part of the wand (still needs some work) for storage. I think a windup drum for the high pressure hose would be a nice addition and a regulator to reduce the pressure would be nice too but the price was right and I hope to get years of use from this one.

I have used more than one 2700 psi washer over several years, but this Simpson 3100 psi was significantly stronger. It worked twice as fast as my older (I wore it out) washer. So much pressure, I had to hold on to the wand with both hands!!! It really did speed up my jobs. Well worth the price. It will help me make more money quicker with more client satisfaction because it does such a good cleaning job so quickly.
I bought it because of the Honda GC 190 and it has not disappointed me.

I ordered the Simpson MSH3125-S thru Home Depot online after doing much research and comparisons. The MSH3125-S was shipped directly to my house, all components were received and it was easy to assemble basically the handle. After reviewing the instructions and adding the oil provided by Simpson, the Honda engine started right up. I like the chose of nozzles and the pressure hose is flexible. I agree with other reviews that I will probably order a longer hose. Otherwise, this is a powerful machine that moves effortlessly due to the real tires and does an excellent job of cleaning surfaces. Glad I chose a Simpson.

Easy start Honda engine, very efficient cleaning of vinyl fence and mold on driveway. A bit noisy, but good machine overall.

So far so good. This machine is excellent. It has a lot of pressure and all the tips for the wand, many brands don't have a 15 degree and 25 degree, just either or. The horizontal shaft engine makes it easy to access the pump to connect the hoses. The pump is mostly brass instead of all aluminum like some. The handle can be reverse inserted to make it smaller for storage. Love it!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cigarjohn49 Great little powerhouse of a pressure washer.
What a great product. I purchased this model a month ago and it is my first pressure washer. A real pleasure to use. But it's the engine and pump that makes this such a great pressure washer and not much so the name like Simpson. I've seen countless pressure washer manufacturers out there that still use Honda Engines on them including this same, identical engine. Though contacting Simpson by use of a telephone is probably your best bet if you need any information or advice on this washer, but they seemed to be reading out of a scripted manual to help you in answering some questions you may have. Don't bother emailing them as I've emailed them many, many times to never get a response from them. So calling is your best choice.
The power of this washer is amazing and with the right rotating nozzle head; I used a Simpson Nozzle Head which is rated for 3400 PSI @ 2.5 GPM and had an orfice opening of 3.0, it worked flawlessly with this pressure washer.
However I did purchase a Surface Cleaner from Northern Tools (General Pump 18" Hammer Head Surface Cleaner), which Northern said it would work fine with this pressure washer. But unfortunately, it didn't. The nozzles on the Surface cleaner are comparable to the white nozzle head that comes with this pressure washer (40 degrees nozzle). It created a lot of water but barely took any surface dirt off of my brick driveway. Now if the surface cleaner was fitted with the (Red 0 degrees nozzle), it would be the perfect fit. But I went with the Simpson Nozzle since it was designed for this washer.
This is a great product and got it at a very affordable price from Home Depot Online Store. I highly recommend this pressure washer. It's not too loud of an engine, very low maintenance, easy to start and has enough pressure to tackle almost any cold water task you can throw at it.
