Is this what I need to mount a 2x8 rafter to a structural ridge beam?

Asked by: Stevo
It would be up to the Designer/Engineer of Record to specify the appropriate hanger based on demand loads, framing layout, local building codes, etc. We offer various hangers that can be used to attach a 2x8 rafter to the ridge. Thank you!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product These made my workshop roof framing the fastest and least drama I have had in 20 year framing. One i sat them in the bracket there was no need to old it in place (Gambrel Roof). The alternating mating on top the ridge helped speed up alignment and the holes in the base on the side allowed me to verify i was on my marked line at a glance. i will be using them from now on.
