I have seen elsewhere that some kinds of metal bridging is not intended for use with pressure treated lumber. Does this apply for this product?

Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question. The LTB20 comes with a galvanized G90 zinc coating (0.90 oz./sqin) . A G90 coating would not be recommended to be used with pressure treated lumber in an exterior environment.

The open webbed steel joists, I assume, would allow for this type of bridging to be screwed to the under side of the joist top and then to the bottoms of the under side of joists???

Answer:
We have not evaluated this installation and cannot say how it would perform. The intended installation, as shown on our website/in our catalog, is for the LTB to be installed over the top of one joist and under the bottom of the next joist. Thank you!
