Answer: 
The holes on the TP tie plates (including the TP411) are sized for 8dx1 1/2" nails, 8d common nails (0.131" diameter x 2 1/2" long) or SD#9x1 1/2 structural connector screws. It would be up to the Designer/Engineer of Record to specify which fastener to use and the quantity needed for the specific application. Thank you!
