I do not think it comes in other colors but may be able to be painted as long as you use a paint that's suitable for a hard plastic surface.

Answer:
I too have 6x6 posts. The cap fit perfectly . you will have to seal the hole in the top center where you may or may not place a fastener. I purchased 60 of them and installed in less than an hour and a half. A suggestion, if you use stainless fasteners, you can get fingernail polish the color of the cap and touch up the heads.

DPPC Black Decorative Post Cover for 6 in. x 6 in. Post is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 34.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Warps in sun The post covers looked so good when we first put them on, but within a month all of the ones that were in the sun warped! We live in a foothill forest and so the sun is not that hot and is often dappled more than full sun, yet they still warped. The ones that are mostly in full shade are okay.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and Effective Post Caps We were looking for a simple and effective way to protect the 15 6X6 posts on our deck. We wanted a low maintenance, unobtrusive, and economical way to keep rain out and they needed to look good too. These caps filled the bill. We installed with #8 coated common nails with a dab of caulking inside the nail hole to prevent leakage there. They've only been installed for a month but so far so good. An installation tip is to make sure you don't over drive the nail as that creates a hollow that can hold water.
