Which is the correct mixing nozzle and does HD have extension for deep holes? 4 years ago I used the wrong nozzle that was for single tube dispenser but forgot part numbers.
Asked by: Tom
The EMN22i is the mixing nozzle for the SET-XP22. We do not offer an extension, but have heard of customers improvising by using PVC pipe as an extension. Thank you!

This Simpson Set-XP epoxy is what the plan engineer & building inspector recommended when I did my seismic retrofit foundation project. It allows you enough set up time before hardening. But, be careful when using though, as it can get quite messy. The epoxy continues to ooze out of the nozzle, even after you stop pulling the trigger. Otherwise, a great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use and effective I used the epoxy-tie to retrofit several anchor bolts and hold-downs. The epoxy is easy to use and forms a bond between the slab and retro anchors that is apprently even stronger than the slab. Be sure to also pick up bristle brushes/air compressor with air gun attachment to clean out your holes otherwise the epoxy will not bond well to the slab. My use required a special inspection so being able to visually verify the mixing while epoxying the anchors really helped speed up the process.
