PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The BC series offers dual purpose post cap/base for light cap or base applications. This product was designed to help resist lateral and uplift forces. The design reduces the chance of the post splitting and eliminates nailing into end grain.
- Stronger than angled nailing or screw fastening
- Provides an easy and secure connection between post and beam
- Made from 18 gauge steel
- Z-Max galvanization offers extra corrosion resistance for exterior and treated-wood applications
- Install with (12) 16d common nails or #10 x 1-1/2 in. Strong-Drive SD screws
