Q:Which hanger for actual 2x lumber I have some true 2x thickness lumber (2x8). It says Simpson sells for actual thickness lumber as well (vs nominal). Where do I find those?

Affordable and Sturdy

Bought it while planning to buil a riser for my theater. Because of the load and type of lumber I was using, I made the right choice. They are sturdy, strong, durable and the opposite flush face has pointy shape that can stick into the wood and two other holes to permanently hold the hoizontal lumber.

These hangers were used for my porch and they were very easy to use. The tabs are nice as they are used to hold the piece into place. Just make sure to align everything and it works as intended. Its been 3 years since my deck install and it still holds steady.

If I had not gotten this product and fixed the problem, My entire porch would have completely collapsed - it would not have made it through this summer, and definitely not the winter.
