Answer:
No, I don't see how it could be as the toilet tank is much higher than the seat. I guess if there were walls on either side and/or someone was a small child, perhaps that could be a problem. But probably not.

Answer:
Although it comes with an extension for wider toilets than mine, I could see that it might be possible to have a toilet tank that is too deep to fit. Mine was slightly curved so I did have to "stretch" the plastic just a little. But it was snug and didn't crack, so it was fine.

Yes. It's the same water that fills your tank after flushing. It's just that the internal refill supply line is re-routed into the faucet before dropping through the drain hole into the toilet refill tube in the tank. But note: it's the same water you would drink or shower in.

No real plumbing/tools needed except maybe a scissors if you have to shorten either the supply or drain lines (which come in the kit). I think it took me less than 5 minutes to do -- easy as can be. Read Less

Answer:
Hello mattoleriver,
This connects directly to the cold water supply.
There is an install video. To view a video of how to install this product, click on the smaller boxes with an arrow, located under the photo of this product, on the Home Depot.com
A separate water supply does not connect to the toilet. The run off from the sink fills the toilet reserve tank.
Thanks for your inquiry.

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 29 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not so good. Did not fit on our tank because its too close to the wall. Did not work with our plumbing - water trickled out when flushed. The faucet swivelled freely around, which meant that an inadvertent turn and water would end up going all over the floor. Overall - not worth your time or money. Too bad, because this is a great idea. If the quality could be improved I would gladly buy one. August 23, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by to soon to tell It has only been in for a week. It started working at the first flush and is still working after one week. It is fun to watch. August 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best product to make the most of your space This is an easy way to add a place to wash your hands in an area were only a toilet has been installed. I think it is a great product and think that it should be available in stores. Most people I have talked with have never heard of this product. August 2, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Quality not what I expected This product is a great idea, just not good quality. It didn't fit properly, it is cheap plastic. I really wanted something more upscale to put into my tiny bathroom. Very disappointing. August 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Absolutely Love This I absolutely love this sink. It does everything I wanted it to do. My only problem is with the 'feel/look' of it. It is light weight plastic and makes me wonder a little how sturdy it is. Over all we love it and it is a great conversation piece. It comes on 2-3 seconds after the toilet is flushed giving you plenty of time to lower the seat and get soap on your hands. So far we have been using it about 6 weeks and don't have a problem with splashing water on the walls and did not have to put up a backing to protect the walls. The soap sits on the side of the sink and the towel hangs beside the sink. Only when the grandkids come and use a LOT of soap do I notice the cloudy soapy look in the bowl water; so for now the grandkids are always remembering to wash their hand after a trip to the bathroom. It was installed very quickly and without special tools and worked the first time tried! January 19, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by It works! I like my new over the toilet sink, just wish it had a bit more space on each end and that it wasn't so cheap looking. I would prefer it be ceramic and perhaps available in colors. July 26, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by What a joke! The concept is brilliant. This product was made from thin plastic. It was like a toy, not an actual sink. June 24, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MORE PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THESE! There is a real significance scuff mark on the top of it from the packaging, other than that I am very glad I purchased this item. I ONLY wish Home Depot carried it so I could have exchanged it for one that was NOT damaged. It is very expensive for such a cosmetic damage. Everyone who see it think it is the greatest idea! Not only do I have a small bathroom but I have multiple sclerosis and someday I will be in a wheelchair this will open up my bathroom for my future needs, too. I JUST love it! I would recommend it to anyone who's space is limited or they want to save water. April 12, 2016
