I would really like to have some of these cuffs and a roll of the hose at the house so when a break, split or leak happens with the pool im not in a bind but i need to know how they assemble. Can I use the hose and cuff to go from my pump to pool. I can always rig something for a pool vacuum hose but i cant stand leaks or cracks or worse when it comes to the pool and equipment itself.
hope someone can clue me in.
thanks

Rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Super easy I used this to shorten my pool vacuum hose. It was too long and would make the vacuum difficult to move. I used a miter box with a fine tooth saw to cut the hose (I was afraid the saw would want to follow the spiral of the hose, otherwise), and screwed this (counterclockwise) to the cut end. No glue or sealants. Super easy. May 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Don't need glue, etc... Needed to shorten my pool vacuum hose...cut about 6 feet off the hose, then just screw this on...counterclockwise...until tight...you do NOT need glue or anything...it doesn't get any simpler... April 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by pvc hub pool hose cuff the PVC hose cuff worked excellent. I used the PVC cleaner and bonding agent to attach to my old pool hose. It saved me a lot of money by just replacing the end instead of buy a new pool hose. I would definitely recommend this project. I actually bought a second one just to have it for future repairs August 26, 2014
