Not a bad unit, but BEWARE...a lot of tubs are higher than the 15" maximum that this drain will work on, and the trip lever mechanism will need to be modified. Also, the tub drain itself can be a pain to get threaded in , and can eat up a lot of effort . ( Don't ask me how I know.....) Kinda pricey, to be frank.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as described Works as described, closing & opening is a little tricky. The drain is in a tub-shower combo that is mainly used as shower so it's not closed a lot. It might be a problem if used in a tub.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor choice in materials. As I have seen in a lot of other reviews, the hardware is really an issue. It literally only took one day for the screws to show signs of rust.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fairly easy to Install The installer said it was easy to install, he had it in within 15-20 minutes, so I would believe that it was. I have installed before around 20 years ago so I would say that durability was great!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It will rust... Honestly, this is fine to install... certainly not a rocket scientist level project. I had to buy an extra tube and rig an extension to get it to fit our particular tub but that's the tub we chose. That being said, I'm a do it yourselfer and it took some time for me to complete my tub replacement. In that time (less than 6 months), with no water running, the screws that hold the cover in place rusted. Right where a philips head screwdriver connects to the screw rusted almost immediately. Don't waste your money on this junk. This is truly a case of 'you get what you pay for'. It's cheap for a reason... stay away from this. Find another product and good luck with your project!
