Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Elizabeth Poor design on the drain screen
The drain screen is built such that it doesn't let ALL the water drain out of the tub... There is a little pool of water that collects around the screen (it's like a little moat around the screen). I haven't had the drain installed for very long... I haven't even tried to take a bath or shower yet... and the other comments scare me... I am super sad I bought this drain :( :(

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Steven 1-1/2 in plastic bath drain kit review
I think this product is decent but to tell the truth the installation instructions are a little vague. And if you are installing the entire drain then you have to have a separate adapter to glue in. It doesn't mention that or come with it. I think it should, even if it makes a little more costly.
In the picture you see obviously I need to straighten it out a little bit but it drains just fine the way it is, so don't know how that worked out.
The only other thing is that the rubber seal broke on install which could be operator error.
Thanks for the chance to review the product and I hope I win the $1K gift card. Could use a new miter saw.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by David All plastic internal parts
Internal parts are all plastic including linkage. Home Depot does not sell this item for the 18" deep tubs they carry. I modified this by adding an extension and Home Depot's commercial metal linkage internal plug which also had to be modified for the 18" deep tub. For 15" or less tub this is a good product.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by fixit247 Will never buy plastic bath drain again!
Don't ever think that a bath drain is a bath drain, and that any bath drain will do. After seeing how cheap they are being built nowadays, I'm surprised that they can continue in business. I'm now happy to buy a Brass replacement for the plastic one I put in just a month ago. You would never be able to put a "snake" down one of these plastic things, and they don't vent properly which inhibits the ability to drain properly, and the built-in stopper doesn't work. Don't waste your money on plastic, get brass!

Very disappointed. It was quite expensive and I could not return it because I had already cut it to length. The installation instructions were very confusing, as were the picture renderings on the container. Also, customer service was terrible. I sent an email trying to get help with the installation and received no reply. A phone call did no better, as it was not returned either. And, finally, there is no on-line video demonstrating how to install it.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by jadedapprentice Poor quality - leaks
Leak-prone plastic fittings for the drain arm won't seal properly - washers pop out - you will waste a lot of time with this product - look elsewhere
