Answer:
Hi Tampa, yes you can make a Hula Hoop from this material. You might want to go into your Home Depot and take a look at a product called PEX. It's in the plumbing dept. Good Luck.

Rated 2.0 out of 5 by 11 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Leaks ! The inside diameter of this tubing is slightly bigger than a typical icemaker line. It's impossible to use a brass compression fitting on it because the compression sleeve easily slips in and out of the tube creating...no compression. I used this to connect a water dispenser to a main water line and it sprung an instant leak at the quick connect fitting. The fitting itself wasn't defective. Ended up purchasing a 25' white Everbuilt icemaker kit that has a thicker tubing and it worked just fine. July 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good for compressed air I used this tube to build an air compressor out of an old fridge compressor. This tube is very soft and held up to 150 psi with no leaks. The bad reviews are because they mixed up the polyethylene and PVC tube. The PVC is only rated to 50 psi and leaks. This one is rated to 160 psi. It works with compression fittings. This hose fit perfectly over the output of my compressor, so I just used a hose clamp to secure it. On the other side I connected a compression fitting, which works very well with this tube. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor product This type of tubing is near worthless for any water line hook-up. I had a massive leak behind my refrigerator causing replacement of flooring, etc. It was a very fine pinhole leak over many months. The leak was at a bend in the tubing near the wall shut-off valve. Replaced the bend area with 90 degree compression fittings (which were not easy to match) at the bend at the bottom and the top. Thought everything was fine. Now another leak developed (another pinhole, about 18 months later) underneath the refrigerator (Kitchen-Aide built in, another poorly designed product), causing the same problem (destroyed wood floor, etc.). This piece didn't even have a kink, it just sprung a leak. Never use this stuff. Flexible stainless steel high pressure line is the way to go. March 11, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Pinhole leak The Ice maker 1/4 poly supply line, while all where away on vacation, decided to spring a pinhole leak. Came home to find an absolute catastrophe. 3 floors of destruction. The poly pipe is not bent, cut, discolored or marked in any way. Bad quality control. I'm going to have this pipe inspected by a pro so that I can recover my Ins. Deductible March 30, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by develops pin holes over time Let me try this again, first post was rejected by Home Depot. The plumbing manager at my Home Depot told me they encourage people NOT to use this, I wish I recored that conversation. 4 times over 12 months I got pin holes and water damage. Unfortunately I used a lot of this stuff. I called Watts also, they were nice enough and sending me braided lines for free for my damage and hassle. I wish I read all the reviews here, there are many people complaining of same thing. It's plastic made in China. So if water on floor is important not to happen, do not use this stuff. Not sure why Home Depot will not post this, it's fact. I left my phone number with Manager at Laguna Niguel Home depot if anyone wants to contact me. This is really bad stuff and could potentially do a lot of damage and in fact has if you just read other reviews. April 8, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible - Sprung links after 3 days Deserves a NEGATIVE 10 rating. Installed under kitchen sink to connect the new ice maker water filter purchased from Home Depot. The filter is great. However, after 3 days, the tubing sprung 3 pin hole size leaks 1/4 inch behind the connector on top of the internal furl. It ruined the base and edge of the cabinet. I should have used the steel reinforced lines with preattached connectors (like the ones for the sinks) but these have to be special ordered (did not know they even existed for the ice maker in 1/4 size). Terrible, terrible experience. Will never buy another Watts product again. A ten dollar kit will cost several hundred dollars in repairs. Will be contacting local Home Depot manager for help. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to buy and set up I will know more after our southern winter is over, but I wanted a convenient place to put my potted plants when the temperatures fall below freezing. I am hoping this mini-greenhouse will protect them to 15 degrees F. The greenhouse was very easy to assemble. I have not yet tried putting it back in the box. That could be a puzzle challenge. The ordering process was great and avoided going to the store. Overall, so far, I am pleased. October 30, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by In answer to BNGI No, it was not the PVC tubing that I installed, but this product. The leaks occurred over some years years under house pressure. As I stated, the 3/8" is fine. February 11, 2015
