Quality is average. The lateral shoe drain failed at about 15 years. The lateral pipe connected to the the tub drain is rolled sheet metal soldered at the seam. The sheet metal was fine but the seam corroded causing pipe to fail.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by maguinn chrome screan part cover a drain that is not chrome plated
the chrome screen is needed for the drain to be chrome color. the part under is brass color. in my tub the chrome screen stands up and causes water to puddle, without the screen tub drains fine, but the drain color is then brass so looks BAD!
Otherwise it works fine if you do not mind a bit of water standing in tub.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by snowbabe Answer: How to install the seal ring?
The rubber seal ring does go between the tub and the pipe. It is on the inside not the outside. It fills any gap between the tube and pipe. When I installed my tub pipe, the seal that it came with was not quite thick enough to fully seal between tub and pipe due to the angle of my jetted tub. As I installed the seal I had someone come hold it in place as I screwed the drain lever in place to tighten it down.

Unable to connect stopper to stopper handle. Installation directions very poor and no picture for the installation.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by snowbabe Great bath drain
This is a good quality drain. The lever moves easily. It was pretty easy to install. However we had to fix a few issues with the tub and had to take it a part a few times before all the repair was done. It became tricky to get the pipe to line up. Then the pipe at the right angle kept slipping off. We did discover it was easier to slip the straight section in and then the angled pipe. Other than that it has worked great!
