This drill press is a great tool for the price. I plan to use it for homeowner type of project and do not plan to professionally use the product. It is great for large hole saw cuts as well as drilling smaller diameters.

I have used SKIL products not only here in Canada but in South Africa as well.
I like these products as they not only do the JOB well but they last and are extremely versatile.
This is my first SKIL product purchased in Canada and it definitely will not be the last.
This SKIL Drill Press is easy to use, adjust, change speeds on and change drill bits with a great laser light to center my work project.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by kenhollinrake Easy to assemble.
I bought this drill press to use to drill pen blanks. However the opening between the end of the bit and the swing away base is too short to easily allow the intended use. With some adjustments no doubt I can solve this challenge.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by CharlesDearing Laser useless
I'll admit I'm surprised the laser setup hasn't been improved due to majority of the negative reviews are regarding it. Mine came on. The lines didn't intersect where the drill bit hits. Ok, the manual tells you how to adjust. I did what it said and the right side laser stopped working. The laser guide is the sole reason I chose this drill press. Very upset and sure as heck don't want to mess with mailing this heavy thing back. Lesson learned.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jaybee47 Skill 3320 10" Drill Press
I researched most of the popular 10" Drill presses first and decided on the Skill 3320 as I took it the quality would be the best of the bunch even though most of them are built in China
Opened the box and found it well packaged and put it together, reasonably simple I thought
Overall quality was pretty good.
Couple of points not too happy with:- the finish on the table was quite poor, very rough machining marks plus the edges of the table had not been de-burred so we're very sharp. Run over the edge with the Drexel fixed that
The motor belt pulley was not bored very straight and caused the pulley to run out about 1/8" causing a bit of vibration plus they are made out of plastic????
What happened to metal?
Not sure how I'll sort that one out we'll see if Skill will honour their warranty without me having to take the unit back
Overall though quality was reasonably good, good speed range and everything fitted together well
So apart from the two points above, good value for the size of the unit.
All I would like to know is when, oh when are we going to start building quality tools in North America again?

I needed to replace the one that was stolen from me, and this tool fits the needs.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by MikeHarmon Broken out of the box
Got it assembled, and the laser doesn't work out of the box. Tried the included batteries (wish the laser was powered off the main supply instead of a pair of AAs) as well as two different known good pairs. Nothing. I'll be calling customer support when they open Monday but I'm not looking forward to paying to ship this thing back.
Tool itself seems to perform OK, maybe a little more run-out than I expected but I haven't measured it.

I am happy with the drill press. The drill chuck is not that great, but at this time that is the only problem that I see.
