You get what you pay for! The Lazer guide gets gunked up pretty easy because of what you are cutting and the placement of the Lazer. The dust catcher is useless. The saw is underpowered for cutting bigger boards.
If you need a cheap saw for small projects it's alright, but I wouldn't buy it again. I only bought it because I was tight for cash

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sep Nice Features. Needs Tuned
The saw came 80% assembled out of the box. There seem to be a some tolerance issues between the miter gauge and the fence. Assuming the saw can be tuned and dialed in, it's a great tool for a novice DIYer. I love the laser feature, but the dust bag seems a little cheap (which isn't a problem if your saw remains stationary and you can hook up dust collection, but my space requires a mobile saw table), and the removable clamp tends to lift or twist stock that isn't at least 2x_ (which again is trivial; just use your off hand). Despite some of the minor flaws in the accessories, with a bit of time to tune the saw's precision, it would be a great foundational piece for any burgeoning handyman.

Solid saw. A good fit for DIY. Looks and performs like a much more expensive saw. Accurate & sharp. Cuts easily. Sets up in a minute. Other saws for this price seemed chincy, this saw feels so durable.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by bbartlog Mine developed some problems
Cuts well, the laser line is convenient. Note that the '10 inch' refers to the blade diameter (I guess); you can't cut anything bigger than a 2x6 with this saw. I personally found the safety on the handle occasionally inconvenient, as some pieces are easier to cut if you can retract the guard with your right thumb (which I can no longer do with this saw), but I think that's probably a minority opinion.
However, this saw developed a couple of problems within a year of my getting it. First, the diecast aluminum fence warped slightly over time, probably because of inadequate strain relief (annealing) in the manufacturing process. Where the left and right fence were initially aligned, the fence casting contracted over time so that they are now about 2/3 of a degree out of plane with one another, and some unknown amount out of square with the blade. No longer possible to cut a square end to something without first figuring out which half of the fence to use (and they may both be off).
Second, the laser guide got knocked out of line somehow so that it now points a couple of degrees to the left of the actual cut. It may be possible to fix it somehow, but why would it get out of line in the first place?

This miter saw is perfect for a home workshop saw that has the features needed for home projects. It's lightweight so it would be easy to move around if you need to, but can be bolted down onto your workbench if you want it stablized. It ripped through it's first project with ease, cutting fast and sharp without splintering up the wood, the miter settings are easy to use and it has detentes for common cuts. The blade was easy to control with very little friction allowing for precise control (useful for a check cut, but typically you're ripping all the way through anyway) The cutting surface has grooves cut into it to keep your work sliding around on the aluminum plate. The laser was pre-calibrated on mine so I didn't have to adjust it, lining up dead center of the cut.
I am frequently of the opinion that it's worth buying quality in tools, and I wouldn't classify this as cheap, it's solidly built and I don't suspect it'll be falling apart through any of my moderate-heavy home usage (I couldn't say for work-site level usage). Yet it's priced like a cheaper no-name brand saw.
