I bought this saw because it has a laser. The laser is off 1/8 of an inch and CANNOT BE ADJUSTED !
The foot of the saw is also off making 90 degree cuts 1/8 inch to long, again you cannot correct the problem. The blade of any saw should align with the ,90 degree, cutting guide notch.I have used a variety of saws, left and right bladed saws, wormdrive, brick and tile, compound miter saws all are accurate an most are adjustable.
Home Depot specifications say this saw has a dust blower and spindle lock,THIS MODEL DOES NOT HAVE SPINDLE LOCK or DUST BLOWER.I have discovered multiple product description errors by Home Depot ,and now go manufactures site to get accurate description. This saw is not sold in store and must be ordered online.
My saw arrived within a week. The saw has some nice features,10.2 lbs in weight, 15 amps and easy to use bevel and depth control. It's inaccuracy of 1/8 inch make it useless to me. I needed a saw and did not have the time ,two or more weeks, needed to return saw and receive replacement.
I returned saw to Home Depot and bought a ,in stock at store, Dewalt model DWE575SB from Lowes . Dewalt cost more but is only 8.8 lbs and very accurate.

I usually don't like fancy new features ... they stick a laser on everything these days!
BUT I actually love the laser feature! I have not been gentle on this saw for two years now and still going strong!

In-store I bought a light-weight saw, which I returned a few days later. So I went online and read a bunch of reviews carefully before choosing a different saw. This one is a definite keeper. The laser is very helpful and easier on the eyes than watching my Sharpie pen line. The saw is hefty, but not unwieldy, and the plate is solid/wide enough for good support/control, even with narrow or angled cuts. The blade cuts cleanly, quickly, with no kickbacks, and the noise level is good. Would like an improvement on the locking lever for raising/lowering the blade cutting depth -- it is awkwardly located and to adjust. To do an angle cut, the locking knob is fairly tight -- hope it will loosen with use.

Bought this to replace an old Craftsman saw. The saw works like a champ and the laser makes straight cuts a breeze. It is heavy duty and far less than other saws without a laser. The carrying case and on-board wrench were added bonuses. I hightly recommend this saw.

UNABLE TO USE LEFT HANDED. IT IS DIFFICULT TO BLADE ON.

only used it to cut a 4x8 sheet of treated plywood and a couple treated 2x4s but it cut real smooth.especially liked the laser on the plywood, a lot easier to keep a straight cut.my other 40 year old saw quit. had to replace it and wanted something that didn't cost an arm and a leg as I'm not a builder or contractor. the price was right, the saw had the extra features I wanted and the bag was a bonus.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by handywoman Love the laser guide!!
I knew the brand is one of the good ones. I have only used it a couple times the laser guide makes it so much easier to cut straight. Being a woman over 55 this is my first owned circular saw, handled fine. Wish they could make them not so loud (LOL). Works great so far. I check out a lot of saws and read many reviews and this is the one I picked.

Laser is spot on and everything lines up as it should. Had just returned a new Rigid saw that was more expensive. The laser was way off the cut line and to cut a straight up 90 degree cut you had to set the base plate on 12 degrees. Nothing right about that saw but the slightly cheaper Skil works great. Good quality for the price.
