Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 24 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good saw The saw is powerful with a good blade as original equipment. Its lightweight and easy to hold with one hand, and well balanced. Have used it lightly over 5 months, and am very happy with it. November 29, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great machine.......... I have been wanting one of these for a long time. It was worth the wait. I love the power.......which takes some getting used to after using a traditional cir saw all of my life. I love the veiw being on the left side, which is good for a righty! November 8, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Saw I bought this saw to replace a saw that I had had for over forty years that was stolen.  I was afraid that I could not get one as good. I have had this saw for only a short time but I think it is going to be as rock solid as the first one.  It cuts straight and true and seems to have good power.  It is heavy with the advantages and disadvantages associated with that.  The weight helps the saw cut smooth and track straight against a guide but at my age (74) it wares me out pretty quick.  The saw appears to be what I hoped it would be.  September 3, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great replacement for a 40 year old 77 Great saw for the money a little easier to use than my old 77. A lighter also. February 9, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I like the narrow width and power vs weight. My first power tool as a home owner was a Skilsaw which a built a redwood deck with. It still works perfectly, even with the now its shorted 12" cord(LOL). Anyway, I now have a thriving home improvement business and wanted to upgrade the weakest link in my toolbox, my Skilsaw 5350. For quite some time I wanted to upgrade to a 77Mag series. I was on the fence between the SHD77M and the flasher MAG77-75, so I bought both. I weight them at home and decided to kept the lighter of the two. I think Skill weights them w/o their power cords since my measurements were much higher than their specs. SHD77M (spec 14 pounds) actually weights 15.34 lb MAG77-75 (spec 14 pounds) actually weights 15.40 lb July 24, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Never going back to a sidewinder, ever. I can't believe I shy'd away from worm drive saws for so many years. The bearings in my B&D sidewinder recently went out so I tried just about every saw at my local Home Depot. I was very disappointed in how the other brands of sidewinder style saws didn't track straight when cutting long pieces of plywood. After much disgust I reluctantly pulled the trigger on the most expensive worm drive saw that HD sells. To my great pleasure, I was amazed at how effortlessly it was to cut perfectly straight lines, absent of drift, with this saw. All those years working on job sites thinking that these saws were just too heavy and were just for frame carpenters with big biceps, i was wrong. Yes this saw is a little heavier than the average circular saw but the wood supports the weight, and I just have to push it across the board. The additional weight and cutting power is what makes this saw cut so well. If you appreciate a well made and straight cutting saw you won't be disappointed in purchasing this saw. July 20, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by excellent saw I have always used skill saws in my trade as a union carpenter and they are the best.  I just wish it was not made in China.  We need our jobs. September 3, 2013
