Have not used the product on a project yet, but it seems easy to use. The problem I have is that when I received the product in the mail the plastic packaging was broken in several places, tag scratched off the bottom and tape across the top. It looked like I received a previously returned product, and I did not order it as a discounted product or a returned product. I hope I do not have an issue with it when I need it for a job.

I bought two of these the same day. One for me and one for my father-in-law. I have been using mine for about three weeks with no problem. Christmas day my father-in-law opened his and had problems out of the box. The light in the bit window does not light up when the bit is retracted as it should so it is difficult to see what bit is being chosen. Also the motor is not disabled when retracted. I have emailed skil and awaiting a response. The features are nice though. No setting down bits between different style screws just to loose them. Having a light that activates when squeezing the trigger is also nice.

I found this cordless screwdriver to be small, lightweight and full of power. It worked great on all the small jobs I needed to get done around the house. I used it the first day to hang a measuring cup holder in the kitchen, fix a door to the bedroom and install a new light switch cover in the bathdroom.
its 12 bit magazine holder kept all of the bits close at hand and easy to swith between which bit I needed. Built in led light makes any job in the dark light up. The illuminated and magnified glass on the bit magazine made it easy to see which bit you needed to select. It comes with both a usb plug and an electrical outlet plug which make it very handy for charging anywhere. I would recommend this screwdriver for anyone looking to get those much needed jobs done around the home.

I found the Skil 360 to be a versatile, compact and handy cordless screwdriver. The overall built of this tool is pretty solid and made up of high grade plastic and steel. The two important features that I liked on this one were its ability to charge through USB and the built in driver bits (12 in total) which stay in a revolving chamber when not in use. To select the desired bit you have to revolve the bit loader and push the button above to load it. The battery is Lithium ion and holds charge for a long period. I have been using it daily for around 10 days and still have not charged it once. According to the manufacturer, the stanby time for the battery is 18 month which means if you are not using the driver for prolonged periods, you do not have to charge it every time you need to use it. The other thing I observed was that you can actually remove the bits outside if you want to which are magnetically attached to the driver. So I guess you can load the custom bits in case you do not find your desired bit preloaded. The screw/unscrew feature can be controlled by the buttons on the side. The driver also has a led lamp to use it in low light conditions. One word of caution though, it does not have a auto-stop clutch so you need to be careful in case where screw threads/screw heads are fragile, not a problem while unscrewing though. Overall I am pretty satisfied with this equipment and would recommend it if you are looking for a portable motorized screwdriver.

When you have easy access to medium-duty tasks that require a screw driver, this handy li'l guy from Skil answers the call. Leave it charging until you're ready to use it (lithium ion batteries don't need to be babied), then take it to the job. Pull back the loading slider, squeeze the trigger to light up the viewing window and dial up the bit you need (flat-head, Phillips, Torx, square). Push the slider forward and you're ready.
Although it lacks variable speed control, you can compensate with short bursts of the trigger. Best of all, the bits you need most often are always there, and you don't have to grab (and possibly lose) multiple screwdrivers.

No more carrying a bunch of loose hex-based screw driver blades. With the ease of changing and selecting whatever combination of blades is needed, installation of those mixed activities is very pleasing. No overloaded pockets or tool belts. Need to reach beyond the stub of the blade? Use an extension bit.

I like the selectable bit feature however the build quality is lacking. The bits sometimes don't eject outside and I need to a stronger 2nd attempt to get it out. The little "handle" at the top to select the bit is just a snap on attachment to the sliding mechanism and can pop off...if you lose this then it makes the entire tool useless so be careful of this, I will be gluing it on with some ABS glue.
Good torque and lights, however it doesn't stop on a dime after releasing the trigger like other drills and impacts. I mainly use this when installing wall plates and other things that have multiple types of screws. Using the 12V outlet in my truck via the USB keeps this fully charged all the time. Very handy but it's not a Makita, Bosch, DeWalt...it is a Skil afterall.
