Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Needs better attachments Love the power of this sander. I own a hardwood flooring company and bought this sander for the accessories and extensions. Problem is that where the accessories attach is where they break. The machine is too powerful for the flimsy attaching system. Would love to have one of these with a beefed up attachment. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great until it broke Bought probably 7 to 10 months ago. The wife loved it but it broke yesterday. The piece under the sand paper pad that is supposed to make the pad vibrate shattered and came out the exhaust.... Sad because like I said the wife really liked it but if it won't even last a year then we're going to have to go with another brand to replace this. I tried to attach a pic but it wouldn't upload August 14, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by sander I brought this because of the name and that it had different attachments for it. I've had it over a year so no warranty. Used ones when brought to lightly sand off some paint just to repaint. I started to sand a night side this weekend, after using the attachments I'm thinking the vibration wore down the plastic hooks that keeps it in place. So really after not even 2 uses it is worthless. I would suggest buying a different brand. June 6, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A great all around multipurpose tool . I purchased this sander about a week ago but only opened it about two days ago. while inventorying the accessories I found the adapter plate was missing from the box so until I can get one the attachments are useless to me. I also found that there is no different grades of paper available, this disappointed me. The idea was a good one but the lights showing if your using to much or to little pressure should face the user not away from them. I found in the two days I was using the sander that it was very easy to tear up the rubber and the hooks to attach the paper to particularly the corners and sometimes the edges. With that said the sander is still an excellent buy and would recommend it for the beginner and intermediate DIY. April 21, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Great Idea, Terrible Quality I love the idea of this sander with all the attachments that allow for sanding almost any type of surface. The problem with it is the quality. I've only used it a couple of times and the things that hold the plates on has melted. The only way I can use it is as a regular mouse type sander - can't use any attachments. Wish I had read some reviews before I purchased! April 27, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent concept, poor design in some areas I bought this sander to help me refinish a mission style table and chairs with lots of grooves and tight places. The attachments that come with the sander are perfect for getting into hard to reach places. It's very effective in these areas HOWEVER, the primary attaching point for the accessory adapter is a weak spot. I give it 5 stars for the idea and potential. When using the accessories, you have to put on a specific base on the bottom of the sander. This connects to two tabs on the bottom of the sander. The tabs wear very easily to the point that it will no longer stay attached. It's not a simple matter of buying a new piece because the piece with the tabs is the actual base of the sander. for design and durability i give it 1 star. January 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Flexible Sander Just purchased the Skil sander. It is very easy to change attachments. Very nice feel to your hand. All of the attachments allow the user to sand almost any surface. The surface finish is consistently smooth. January 7, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Attachment support plate wore easily The attachment support plate attachement connections wore out only after a couple of days use. Support plate will not stay attached as the plastic connectors that hold the attachement in place. November 29, 2015
