Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by EDDIE Wow!!!! This table works well.
This Skil router table works wonderful with a router to the router table. Be sure to have a shop vacuum mount to the fence assembly. The RAS800 works well and gets the job done. I made a frame for mirror. It only took me 5 minutes to assemble the table but it took me much longer to make a frame for a mirror . I've added photos for your comfort. I'm really happy with this table but takes a bit of time to get this trim right.

This router table is perfectly suited for my compact living needs. It fits my Dewalt DW618, however accessing the router chuck to chance out the bit is a little difficult... but overall it works wonderfully!

The space saving design allows the legs to fold up when not in use, yet lock in place firmly when folded down.
You plug your router in to one of the two provided outlets on the underside of the table. The second outlet is also controlled by the front safety shutoff switch. You can use it for dust extraction or a work light.
The clamps easily accommodated all 3 of my routers, including a really old one I decided to make a permeant fixture on this table,
A dust extraction port is included.
This is not going to replace my every day router table, but it will mean I no longer need to drag the existing table to job sites. This is a prefect on-the-go router that takes up little room in my pickup.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Daniel Finally a table I can use fold up and put away clean!
Skil has stepped up and made a great quality table for my router. My router easily slipped into the cent and clamp tight fit. The RAS900 come pre-assembled with an integrated accessory storage bag and a laminated MDF top. Included is a guard, feather board, miter gauge and bit inserts; along with a tall fence with adjustable laminated MDF faces; dual feather boards, for safety a starter pin and guard for support when routing curved work pieces; a bit height gauge for easier bit setup and cutting precision The RAS900 has a quick-release router mount that attaches and detaches in seconds. An efficient folding leg design means the table comes pre-assembled with minimal setup needed and strong legs fold for storage. Stability plus convenience makes this a great router table for any DIYer. This table makes a big difference for my work shop, so much easier to use the router more often.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by L111 Well designed, handy compact router table kit
I've never owned or used a router table before, and while I have wanted one for a few projects, I couldn't justify buying one more woodworking tool that would take up more of the very limited space in my garage.
I selected this router table through the Home Depot Seeds review program, as it looked like a simple and compact router table that would work well for my DIY projects around the house.
The router table is pretty simple to setup. It includes the main table with fold down legs, and a fence, which slides onto the table with two bolts.
I was skeptical about the router mounting clips on the bottom of the table, but my Dewalt router base mounted just fine and it's surprisingly secure. With the four clips hand tightened, I don't have any concerns about the router base or motor moving or sliding. Note that you do need to remove your plastic-sub base before mounting your router base, which is clearly noted in the instructions.
The integrated power switch is a very nice addition to this table kit, and it makes it very easy to turn the router on and off, and the large paddle style switch is also easier to turn off quickly if necessary--certainly much easier than the small power switch on the Dewalt router.
I did a test using a 1/4" roundover bit and a piece of scrap pine. Even without clamping it down to my workbench, the table was stable and didn't wobble or slide. The included feather board is another nice feature that kept the work piece nice and flat against the fence.
I had two minor issues when actually using the table.
The first is that the clear plastic cover over the router bit makes it awkward to feed and move the work material. I was trying to keep my hands away from the plastic cover, but working around it was a bit tedious. Admittedly, this is my first time using a router table, so I may need to look into better technique, so perhaps with some learning and practice, I can find a better way to feed the work more smoothly. I understand the desire to have a cover that serves as a safety feature and helps with dust collection, but the large size and design makes it difficult to work around on the small table.
The second minor item is that the dust collection port on the back of the fence is 2 1/4" in diameter. Both of my shop vacuums have smaller hoses, so if you don't have a 2 1/4" hose, you will need an adapter. I think I have an adapter somewhere, but I will have to find it and see if it is the right size. I did try putting my vacuum hose in the dust collection port, just hanging in the hole, but it didn't work too well, so I would recommend using a 2 1/4" hose or an adapter.
These are both minor items, and I think that the table is still a great product. And the thing I really like is that the legs fold up and the table turns into a relatively compact unit that I can store in a cabinet in my garage, and not be a floor-standing table that takes up space in my garage.
Overall, I think it's a great product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by CW Just what I needed
I wanted an inexpensive portable router table and this one works great for my needs. I attached an old Craftsman (1/4" collet) router to this and it mounted no problem. Would be nice if there was a lift mechanism of some kind, but for the price savings over a more elaborate table, raising the bit manually is not a real hassle. The fence is plastic and the table legs feel a tad flimsy, but that has not been a problem with accuracy, stability or safety. I just use clamps to attach the router table to my bench and it works great. I don't use this table every day, but it's really nice to have when I need it. Hope this was helpful.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Woodchuck Great table, but with some annoyances.
The depth markings on the table are easy to read, but since the fence faces do not extend all the way down to the marks, it is difficult to know if the fence is actually squared. I had to use a flat piece of metal to align the fence face with the depth markings to ensure a square cut. Also, the safety shroud is more of an annoyance than a help. It distorts what is beneath it and makes seeing the work difficult. I had to remove it for most of my jobs because it blocked my vision of my work. Besides, over time these shrouds get fogged with wood resin and are no longer transparent. If one wears safety glasses, the shroud is not really necessary.
Because the electrical recepticals for the vacuum and the router are under the table and very close to the router body. it is very difficulte to plug in the vacuum cleaner once the router is attached. It would be easier to operate if the outlets for the router and vacuum were on the back outside of the table where they would not interfere with the handling of the router. Also, the table has no opening for a T-wrench, so you cannot adjust your height adjustments from the top, but must go underneath to turn the height adjustment handle. Very annoying. Otherwise, the table is sturdy and once clamped down, remains where it is while working with little vibration.
