I replaced the battery of the door unit. Now the wall unit does not beep, but flash continuously. According to the manual, this indicates Loss of signal. The manual does not tell how to fix this.

I tried to disconnect/reconnect the wall unit, but that did not help.
Please help me pair them back together.

Does this only work on sectional roll up doors that rise vertically, or may I use it on a wooden torsion door that pivots and swings out and up?

Answer:
Fits exactly where the Chamberlin Garage Door push button is with the same two wires. Replace the Chamberlin push button with the Auto Closer button and after that you place the transmitter unit on the bottom panel of the Garage Door. Take all of 30 minutes if that long.

Answer:
Yes as long as your Chamberlain does not say MYQ or Security + 2.0 anywhere on your garage door motor. The MYQ series started around 2012. If your garage door motor is older than that, then this will work for sure.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 77 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Great concept, lousy execution The unit was easy enough to install. It has the ability to substitute for an expanded wall unit with separate light and door control, but it will not do so with a Genie brand garage door opener, so I wired it as a simple push button remote. After less than a week the sending unit that attaches to the garage door stopped working. Replacement batteries were no help. Neither was the repeated attempts to contact the company for warranty replacement. A month later and still no response. September 6, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Works Fairly Well I left the door open during a rain storm and it interfered with the garage safety sensors, so the door stayed open all night. Also the door sensors use watch batteries as power. They will be more expensive to replace vice a AA battery. All in all I would opt for a system that also gave a phone notification as well. All it takes is something to break the safety signal and the unit will not close. August 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great! This device resolved the issue of my 16-year old nephew forgetting to close the garage door when he left for school. And I don't have to wonder if I remembered to push the button when I left. Ability to override the timer and to control the light are useful extras. Only issue is that the instructions were not as complete as they could have been. Actually found the best installation info online. Love this item! Definitely worth the money. August 23, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Useless Couldn't do a thing with it. Adhesive for the sensor didn't stick and the contacts on the main unit couldn't stay closed. September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy installation! This product is very easy to install and operate. Only concern is battery operated door unit which needs to be checked annually. Here's an unboxing and installation video: https://youtu.be/16YVkSsFdic August 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good product-works as described Easy to install. Now neighbors will not need to call at night to tell me my side garage door is up. July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly what I wanted After two weeks of use I'm very impressed. Installation was simple. I didn't use the wiring clip, just removed the old opener control and attached the 2 wires to the SkyLink opener. The open & hold feature is easy to use and works flawlessly. July 19, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Update -- worked for 30 days, then kaput. I had bought and installed this product. It functioned well for 30 days and then simply ceased working. The batteries were good and the receiver appeared to be, well, receiving... it just stopped closing the garage door and therefore went back to HD. Given my experience, I would have to change my initial recommendation to "stay away"... June 24, 2016
