Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works Perfectly Excellent value for the money. I was shopping around and the cheapest door closer I found was around $80. I ended up buying the Skylink for $30. I would recommend that you call the company before ordering just to make sure your garage door opener is compatible with Skylink. Installation was fairly simple 15-30 minutes including testing time. You will most probabaly need to reprogram your garage door remote when you install this unit. Make sure you use the double sided tape and the screws when installing the sensor on the garage door itself. The unit beeps, in one second intervals, while the garage is open and then beeps a bit faster when it's about to close, which is great. Make sure you have safety sensors installed on your garage if you're going to install the unit. Technical support: I had to leave a message and they called me back within 24 hours, which is not bad. Overall very satisfied with my purchase. December 19, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Software fault Installed with 10 year old Broten Opener. Unit worked for three months then sender fell off door. Reinstalled sender with cable ties. Worked another three months then the unit software began to erase the travel stops memory. Garage would not close all the way or try to open too much. Turned unit off and it worked as a regular switch with timer disabled for about a week. Then, by it self, it went into a programing mode (lower left light blinking) and resumed erasing the travel stop memory. Replaced unit with old basic switch. January 19, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works great The average rating was for the plastic sensor that touches the garage floor. I think a metal one would last longer. January 15, 2015
