Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TheBullDog Easy to install. Works great.
The garage door monitor kit was easy to install. Ensured the sensor and monitor settings were identical; attached the sensor to the garage door so the sensor arm extends fully when the door opens; placed the monitor in a visible location in the house; and, plugged it in. A green light on the monitor tells me the door is closed. If the door is opened, a red light comes on, and an audible alarm sounds (which can be muted if you intend to have the door open for a prolonged period of time). My monitor is next to my house alarm panel so I can tell at a glance if everything is buttoned up (and the garage door is closed) when I turn the house alarm on.

This product is very easy to install and works as it should. If garage door is open, the monitor beeps until it is fully closed. This can be a little annoying, but it gives much needed piece of mind that your garage is secure as far as the large door is concerned..

The only thing is that the sensor and the receiver can not be too far apart. Garage door is on the ground level, and the receiver is on the 2nd floor. If I put the receiver further to the back of the house, then it 'd give a false signal, meaning it just keeps beeping without stopping. So I have to put it in the front just above the garage door. I guess it is ok for now as of 02-21-2212.
