We would not recommend this unit for your brand of garage door opener. The model 318TR would be the best unit to work with your opener.

Answer:
If your chamberlain garage door opener is a MYQ system it will not work. However if your GDO is not a MYQ system, this remote control will work as long as you also purchase the GB-318 receiver. In this case you would be better off the purchase the MK-1TH from Home depot as long as your GDO is not a MYQ system.

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Doesn't work with our Chamberlain Garage Door Opener The staff and the instructions both say this should work with a 1993-era Chamberlain garage door opener (from home hardware), yet after carefully following the programming instructions multiple times, absolutely nothing happens. SOOOOO frustrating!! July 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Garage Remote Works grreat we have bought two others of Home Depot. May 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by garage dooor remote hard to find anything that works with older garage door openers. Skylink actuator was bought at another store, but you had the remote that worked with it. Thanks January 19, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Unable to use Receiver bought to go with remote has been inoperable so waiting to test. October 27, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to program, horrid range I got the Smart Button with keypad, and got this for the other car, Programming was simple (push learn button on Smart Button and then use the opener within 10 sec, voila). But putting my car's nose to the garage door still wasn't close enough, had stick my hand out the car window open the door on a good day, if not get out of the car with the remote and stand in front of door to get the range, This one (G6) had no visor clip, the one's at the competitor's store's do, but they are G5, not compatible with the Smart Button. Google said an AC adaptor may increase the range, but with shipping (not at Home Depot), it'll be another $60+ for that gamble. December 16, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to set up / good value Nice easy to set up garage door remote. Relatively small. You need to hold the key depressed for 2 secs or so to activate the door which is nice so you do not inadvertently hit the remote and open / close the door. Good feature. Of course you need to also buy the remote receiver/wall switch that communicates with the remote. This is also quite easy to install on your own. February 3, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great! It linked to the add on Skylink reciever I put on my very old Sears opener in seconds. Also has plenty of range. October 9, 2012
