As long as your Chamberlain garage door opener is not the `MYQ`version, the GB-318 smart button receiver should be able to operate it.

Answer:
This remote control does not have any jumper settings inside it. What you need is the Skylink 69 remote control. Unfortunately Home Depot does not carry it. It is available at www.amazon.com. Since you are also looking at Home Depot's website, they carry the MK-1TH. This system comes with a receiver so that you don't need to worry about jumpers.

Non-Universal Remote Transmitter with Visor clip is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from remote works with a skylink eq series door opener the specs are somewhat vague for what door opener these remotes will work with, according to the manual for the eq series door opener, it specifies that the g6v remote is a accessory. bottom line, the remote is listed as a non universal remote, and this is true with out the smart button option for other brand door openers, The remote works with skylink eq series door openers and programs as specified in the manual for the eq series openers. (press the learn button on the opener one time, a yellow led will flash and then you press the remote button until the yellow led stops flashing, within a 30 second time period, the remote is now programmed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from easy upgrade for my old Stanley opener! I lost the only remote for my old garage door and was in a bit of a jam. I added a keypad and a visor remote control and they both work great. The installation instructions could be a bit more thorough but with a small modification to make it work with heavier gauge wiring on my system I had the whole thing installed in less than 15 minutes! Works Great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great with my Skylink System! A few years ago I purchased a Skylink Keypad System to add to our garage door to allow my family access without keys for doors. It was easy to install onto my Chamberlin system with no need for complicated wiring. Now my 17 year old has his own car and needed an opener of his own. The Chamberlins were twice the price. I looked into this as an option and after calling Skylink to get the correct one for my system I found this at a discount price on HomeDepot online. Took 5 minutes from package to working. One minor detail is item arrived black instead of white which was fine since his interior is charcoal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great I updated my very old Sears opener that came with one huge broken remote after we purchased the house. I got two keychain size and one of these for the Gold Wing with the reciever. Programming was a breeze and the range is good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product. My garage door opener is the older type that is not programmable. Since this remote opener installs with the existing wall mounted button it was a perfect solution for adding additional remote units for the cars. The device was very easy to install and works great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not a bad deal... Unless you have a Skylink opener, buy the remote and receiver as a package, you need them both. One goes on your old wall switch and the other in your car. That's how they talk to each other and send your old button it's command.
