Answer:
None of our products are Z-Wave compatible. Skylink products are using the Skylink protocol and they are not Z-Wave compatible at the moment.

The door is far less than 100 lbs, and it is in an interior location. Still looking for hardware answers.

Answer:
In that case, this should work well. Simply make sure that the hinges on the door are not spring loaded. We have 3 models of this unit. DM-50 without any locking mechanism, DM-100 with electro magnetic lock, DM-150 with Electric Strike latch.

What hardware do i need?

I would be adding this to an existing steel entry door. I assume I need to replace the lockset/handle. The door needs to be lockable, and to stay closed if there is a power failure. Do you offer hardware that can address this?

Since this is intended primarily for disabled people, and their needs/abilities vary a great deal, it would be helpful to have close-up pictures, or, better yet, video of the remote or push-button options. I have no way of knowing whether the intended user would be able to operate this device or not, based on the information on the site.

Thank you for any information you can provide!

Answer:
If you intention is to use this for an exterior door, I don't recommend it. This unit is designed for interior doors, no more than 100 lb. door. For more info, call Skylink at 1-800-304-1187.

The unit comes with an AC adapter. If you buy the DM-100 it comes with the magnetic lock. If you buy the DM-150 it comes with the electric strike lock.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Product I’m very happy with this swing door opener. It was very easy to install and overall a great product for the money. I was pleasantly surprised how far the signal works with the remote. The only thing I would have done different is order the magnetic lock when I bought it to help secure the door when it’s closed. I would recommend this product to a friend. September 1, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lafayette resident A friend installed this for me on a screen door that goes out to my back porch. (It's not a sliding glass door type; it's an ordinary swing door.) It did not appear to be too difficult to install. I use a wheelchair to get around. This remote door opener makes it easy for me to not only get out onto my patio, but also to get back inside very easily. July 21, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No power to unit after installled. Installed and after 3 opening events the product no longer works, or has power to it. March 31, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Well suited for the price. Excellent Value After looking at many door openers on the WEB, this one is the best value. My wife uses a Power Chair to get around the house and we need to keep our cats in one room most of the time. The Skylink DM100 has been reliable. We installed it a month ago. We did need to buy two keychain two button openers so we could have an opener on the PowerChair and on both sides of the door. Synchronizing the opener buttons was a challenge but with many attempts I finally got the right button to open and the other to close the door. It was easy to follow the instruction to mount the opener to the door. June 17, 2014
