Answer:
The temperature sensor normally would be linked to either the SC-001 alarm control panel or AD-105 dialer. The temp. sensor would send a radio signal to the dialer, and the dialer would call the phone number programmed in it and deliver the message that is recorded in it by you. The dialer requires landline, VOIP or Magic Jack. Note: VOIP cannot be the kind that requires a special phone.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Bare bones In combination with an AD 105 dialer, this unit will send an alarm signal when the monitored temperature is out of the set range. The sensor has a rather limited wireless range when going through walls. It also only transmits an alarm once every hour, which makes sense for a real temperature alarm situation (wont keep dialing a phone number); however, it is very impractical for the initial set up and testing. This unit also only exhibits a momentary indication that the temperature is out of range - the warning light / noise lasts for all of 1 second. February 4, 2014
