Customer Questions & Answers

installation instructions

Asked by: Jaysmith
The units have a paper template for the pipe placement off the wall or floor. I install the casing 3/4 inch off the floor using wood spacing blocks and use wallboard screws to mount to studs. Do not install the screws behind the fins and pipe, if you ever have to remove the casing you will be in for a lot of work. When installing units together, use a large level or level string.

What size is the copper tubing, 1/2 inch or 3/4?? Doesn't say anywhere on they page.

Asked by: Curiouscustomer
This baseboard is 3/4". I am sorry it is not called out better. If you down load the spec sheet from the Home Depot site you will see it there. On a side note. I have done this all my life and although I know 1/2" exists I have never seen. Keep in mind 1/2" copper tube can only carry 12000 BTU's so you can only run 20' on a zone where as 3/4" can carry 45000 BTU's so you can put 77' on a zone.

Will you send me a picture of the " Fully Assembled Enclosure""

The literature at the Home Depot web site suggests that all that is needed is the copper fittings and one end cap ..Is this correct ?? More pictures of the finished product would be very helpful. Thank You for your help ..
Asked by: Dwayne

Please clarify what parts are included in ""Fully Assembled""

I want to insure that I do not have to buy the enclosure metal and adjustable louvers. From the information at the web site , it appears that I only have to additional purchase the needed cooper fittings and one end cap . Is this correct ??
Asked by: Dwayne
The product you are asking about is a 5' enclosure with a 5' hyrdonic element inside. I don't know what else you might need as each installation is different. You may need trim accessories, copper fittings etc. You are welcome to give me a call and we can discuss your application. Chris 978 651 3301

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money Opened the box and five pieces fell out. The radiator fins was severely bent and mashed but not from falling out of the box. One of the brackets that holds the finned radiator was not attached. The face cover for the fins was dimpled as if was hit with a hammer. No instructions on how to assemble this thing. The only reason I'm not returning it is I'm going to use it for solar experiments. Would never install this junk in my house.
