A neighbour of mine installed Smart Tiles on his kitchen back-splash. mistaking them for ceramic tiles, he was quick to point-out that they weren't--and that installing Smart Tiles couldn't be easier. well, he was right: my back-splash took less than 2 hours to install!
though I'm quite happy with the shade of red in my kitchen, it was quite dark beneath the cabinets. the Smart Tiles, as you can see, went a long way to brightening-up the space.
tax and delivery included, the job cost about $155.--well worth it, in my mind, given the result.
I'd recommend Smart Tiles to anyone who wanted to spare themselves the bother and expense of ceramic tiles. :)

I installed these tiles in my sister's kitchen as the backsplash yesterday and it couldn't have gone any better. There was absolutely no waste, the design of "grout" around every tile makes patching perfect and unnoticeable. With patching and matching the job was done in 3 hours and looks amazing. The tiles do not look like tacky stickers and since she is in a rental situation, the ability to remove in the future should she move out is perfect.

I was looking for a quick and relatively simpler application for a tile backsplash in a white-washed kitchen. These smart tiles hit the mark. I ordered 48 tiles and used 45. Thou it did take me 5 hours to install from prep to finish. I will confess, I am a bit of a perfectionist. The result was BEAUTIFUL! A couple of notes to anyone using these tiles; Try staggering the seams, just as you would with any tile application. The corners will hold better. I also used a piece of paneling trim at the exposed ends to give it a real professional look. Finally, keep a tube of Liquid Nails handy for those pieces that need some extra sticking.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by LoveMyKitchen Great buy for a renter!
This is a great product. I moved into an apartment with huge white walls in the kitchen and I just had to do something about them.
I knew I had seen similar products at the Home Deport store so I went online to see all the designs and this one was perfect! It matched the counter, clock, and our table.
We got the tiles and my roomate and I put them up in less than 2 hours. All we needed was a box cutter. It was easy to cut, easy to align and easy to put on the wall.
The best part is that they are removeable so there is no damage done when the lease is up :)
Only reason I didnt give 5 stars was the fact that this was an online product only and I couldnt ship it to the store around the corner from my apt.
Other than that--Im happy with the purchase!

these tiles are great looking and installation was relatively easy. If the price was a little lower I would have given the product 5 stars. I only have a small kitchen and chose to leave an open area above the sink. It took me 6hrs to do but I think it turned out nice

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sabbie So easy to install!
I love the way it looks! It was very easy to install, especially for me who still can't understand the art of tiling. The only con is that I wish the adhesive was stronger. I had to add liquid nails to the back of some of them to make it stick. But that was only for like 6 of the 35 I bought.

We like the tiles, just a bit weak on the stick 'um. We did purchase a second box of the tiles and trimmed them differently than the first box and they held a little better. straight line is the key not around corners for drywall. I would buy more if I need them.

I put these up immediately after receiving them. I live in an apartment and needed something removable. But they look so good they will probably keep them up. They were easy to use, cut, & paver on the wall. Just make sure to clean the wall with a degreaser first.
