Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Aayan It’s a phenomenal addition to our bathroom
The Smart Bidet SB-2000 is a phenomenal addition to our bathroom. The entire household benefits from this revolutionary bidet which delivers super luxurious personal hygiene and cleanliness. The unit was delivered with sufficient packaging and all parts. The scope of work involved was electrical, plumbing, and application of bidet to the toilet. My husband and I are DIYers and did all the work ourselves.
For the electrical, the unit required a dedicated 20 AMP circuit and a 3 prong GFCI outlet. Our bathroom wiring was already on a dedicated circuit and to confirm the feasibility of running the line from an existing cable customer service was contacted. The individual patiently answered all my questions and was well informed, polite and helpful. Always check local code compliance when doing the electrical work or hire an electrician if not 100 % sure.
The plumbing was a challenge only because our home did not have a bolt to unscrew to insert the T-Tube connector. We switched out the cheap plastic builder push on connector with a better quality toilet valve connector and hose.
The application of the bidet required minimal expertise especially with the step by step illustrations in the manual.
Super simple application! I never did work like this before and am confident anyone can do the install. The control is at your fingertips and the control panel is self-explanatory. You can manually adjust the seat temperature, water temperature, water pressure, angle of water flow, and oscillation capabilities. The dryer takes time if you do not wipe first. Be very careful not to splash water on the unit or use chemicals for cleaning. Always follow the maintenance directions like cleaning the filter periodically as the manual specifies. We did not have to troubleshoot any issues. I am so in love with the unit and will definitely add more to the other bathrooms because the price is so reasonable for the luxury.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Faisal A must have for every bathroom
Believing that water cleans you better than dry paper, this bidet is one of the best upgrades I have done in my bathroom. Since its’ been installed, everyone in my family wants to use the only bathroom it’s installed in for more hygienic, hands-free soothing experience.
I had no problems installing it on my elongated toilet seat since I already had an electric source nearby. Only thing I had to do was to replace the included T connector and water supply pipe, then installed the seat and within 30 minutes it was all up and running. I found installation manual detailed enough that a DIYer should have no issues. This bidet looks high-end and offers much more capabilities like hot water, warm seat, body sensor, self-cleaning nozzle etc. compared to others I have looked at within same price range. All these settings can be changed per individual’s needs.
I have been using it for more than 3 months and so far the experience has been great. During holidays, I had lots of guests of all ages and whoever used it simply loved it. I had always thought that it’s just a luxury item and you can get by without it and now I insist that it’s a must have for every bathroom. Keeping the area clean with warm water also alleviates associated symptoms of itchiness, tenderness that toilet paper only exacerbates. The long term benefits I will receive from using it means it will pay for itself hundreds times more.
What makes me proud to own it is how it helps reducing my carbon foot print. Now I use a lot less paper and to those who say that bidet wastes water should counter that the amount is insignificant compared to how much water we use to produce toilet papers to begin with.
If you are planning to buy one, your search ends here.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gemini Easy To Install, So far so good!
Went to Korea for vacation and these were every where.
Much more effective than the separate bowl french style bidet.
I have had this for 7 months (Nov) and still working great!
His (back) and Her (front & back) rotating and fixed spray positions, heated seat, adjustable water temp and blow dyer. This model contains a seat sensor so no accidental spraying. Seat and lid close slowly so there is no slamming sound. Also has a econ feature to save electricity.
If you can install a toilet seat you can install this.
Simple T connector attaches to your water valve.
You will need an electrical outlet near the toilet.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DogLover Exceeds Expectations/Easy to Install
During a recent visit to Asia, we stayed in hotels that had this type of toilet seat and we loved them. We were very excited when we saw that HD offered the same type seat. We have had it installed for a month now and it has exceeded all expectations. It was very easy to install. All necessary parts and fittings were included. All we needed was pliers and an adjustable wrench. It took about an hour max to finish the job. There are cheaper seats but they don't have all the features. I love shopping at HD because of the friendly, helpful employees, the store is dog friendly and they offer a military discount. The only disadvantage of shopping online is there is no way to get the military discount. How about it HD, give us the same benefits online.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by mixmox Easy to install and use
We are pleased with the product.
The box says that though this is designed for the elongated shape toilets, it can also be installed on the round type. Our toilet is the round type and I was thinking of replacing it with the elongated type before we installed this but since the box said it would also work (with a small overhang) I thought I would try it out.
Remember you need a power outlet nearby. The power cord originates on the rear right hand side of the toilet when viewed from the front but is long enough to reach a power socket 30” to the left of the toilet. (See picture of power location on the left.)
Installation (excluding the installation of a power outlet) was really easy. It took 40 minutes without rushing. The kit contained a spare water supply hose, as well as a size adaptor for a ½” connection.
The instructions are well illustrated and they even tell you which way to turn valves to open them or close them.
The mounting system is designed to handle toilets with varying distances between the mounting bolts. I found it useful to determine the spacing by inserting the bracket into the toilet bolt holes and then inserting it into the unit at step 5 (see image).
The water supply for our toilet is very close to the toilet and the existing supply hose was already a bit long. To install the bidet one needs to add a ‘T’ piece which means that the supply hose to the tank can be even shorter. I was able to manage to use our existing supply hose but I may replace it with a shorter one to see if flow can be increased.
The unit does take up some room at the rear of the seat and the elongated shape certainly would be a better shape to have. (See pictures.)
This is our first bidet so we are not able to compare the experience with any other unit. It certainly works and we get cleaned up nicely. There are three wash settings, (her front/back and his back) an oscillation mode and a dryer. The pressure of the water jet can be adjusted and the temperature of the water and seat can also be adjusted.
The manual does not describe the functions in much detail, and assumes one knows how to use a bidet. It is not hard to find out though.
We found that the drying takes a long time. (I don’t see how it could be done faster unless one had a heated leaf-blower type system back there.) The manual does suggest doing some drying with paper first and we find it is simply quicker to dry up with paper and be done than to sit down again for a blow dry. My wife reported running out of warm water but I have not experienced that.
The seat and cover have a slow closing mechanism so one can tip them closed and not worry about them slamming down.
We are using a lot less toilet paper than before.
We have found that the toilet now takes longer to refill after a flush. I think this is because our water supply hose is now twisted into a spiral and perhaps constricting the flow because it is now too long. I will buy a shorter one next time I am in HD. I don’t think the water being drawn into the bidet is the reason for the slower fill as it only holds about 1 liter.
The bidet typically uses just under 1 Watt of energy all the time. This jumps to between 10W and 50W for less than a minute when in use. I am sure that in the summer we will switch the seat warmer off.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Snowbabe I love the SmartBidet!!!
The SmartBidet is a great way to clean all your nether regions. The heated seat is a wonderful way to relax. The water cleaning system is great because it is self cleaning after every use. The nozzle can adjust pressure and can move forward and back to reach just where you want it to spray. You can control the temperature on the blow dryer. The seat and lid lower slowly to prevent the loud bang. (see picture)
The set up was quick and easy. It took less than 30 minutes to take off the old seat, attach the hose and adapter to the water line (see picture), plug it in to a near outlet, and try out your new found luxury.
The SmartBidet is easy to clean. Cleaners with benzene and acid cannot be used on the SmartBidet. It is suggested to not get toilet bowl cleaner on the seat or electronics. If you do just quickly wipe them off.
Everyone in my family loves the SmartBidet. The only issue I found was all the neighbor kids wanted to come use our toilet. Every person that has used it has loved it. Many of our visitors have now purchased one of their own.

I previously had an expensive bidet that was not as good as this one for a fraction of the price. It was super easy to install and it works perfectly!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Marcus We'll try again
It worked for a few days, then concked out. An electrician checked our electrical supply and that was OK. So we returned it and ordered another. It worked very well, originally, and was very easy to disassemble and return. I find no "fault" with the bidet - things happen - probably a loose connection inside the unit.
