This is a great "starter" smoker for those that want to start to enjoy the true authentic flavor of smoke-style outdoor cooking. The small and compact design (which is great for a family of 2-4) also makes this smoker ideal for camping, picnics, or tailgating, and can be used as a food warmer too. The "low-and-slow" method of authentic, wood-flavored smoke-style cooking can be achieved in this smoker with 1.3 cu. ft. of cooking capacity.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by not bad little smoker. it is a space saver. not a bad little smoker. comes with 2 gills/grates enough to place 4 medium size pork steaks on each. there are 4 slots/rails for 4 separate grates. so you can adjust the spacing between the grates or remove 1 grate to smoke something big like a chicken. the temp on low will stay around 200 degrees. but the temp on medium will take the temp to near 300 degrees. dont know what the temp would be on high setting but undoubtedly will get even hotter. the trick i found was to remove the wood chip box so that the flames underneath could emit more direct heat towards the grates. but did keep the water box (w/o water) inside so that it could catch the meat drippings, else they could clog up the flame emitter below. i plan to buy or make an grate to use in the third slot to cook more meat at one time. and maybe if i decide to use the wood chip box, i will have to figure out how to add some spacing between it and the flame emitter underneath in order to allow more radiant heat to disburse into the area where the grates are. but for now, the meat comes a bit more flavorful than with a horizontal propane grill. . Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by not bad little smoker - update after a number of uses, i find this little smoker pretty good & a space saver too. and because it has one burner, it doesnt use as much propane either. basically, all the meat will cook and smoke virtually at the same time the wood chips burn out.
