I got this as a gift after spending a year trying to smoke brisket on a standard charcoal grill. My results had always been mixed and I had to pay constant attention to the process for hours on end, annoying my wife to no end. Now, I have a dedicated smoker that works beautifully, consistently and without the constant vigilant attention that had previously been required.
I'm still playing around with smoking length, temperature, wood chip type, and which rack the meat is placed on to get the best crust on the brisket and time the fat rendering as best as possible, but so far, so good.

The instruction manual for putting it together wasnt the easiest to understand. but short of that it is a great product. We smoke whole ribs in it for 9 hours the unit maintained the temp perfectly. For the money it is a great buy

Just purchased this product a few weeks ago and it worked great on the first batch of ribs. I do recommend monitoring the temperature with another thermometer (seems to be a common issue with all smoker thermometers). The unit was very easy to assemble and it is easy to use for a beginner. You can get up to 4 full racks in the smoker if you can maneuver them properly. Overall I would definitely recommend it so far.

I've used the smoker twice already and the meat is tender and moist. Easy to add water and wood chips. Absolutely no problems. Assembly was easy.

This is a nice smoker. The only problem is one has a hard time smoking when the outdoor temp is 40 Âº or below. The smoker will not get over about 140Âº. Smoking in the summer will be great though! Would recommend.
