Smoker requires assembly and is a little wobbly, but the smoker's functionality more than makes up for any manufacturing deficiencies. I've smoked turkey, ribs, and pork chops. Thus far, this smoker has fulfilled my expectations. Good buy!

Its easy to put together, but the way they pack it lots of parts get bent, this is why I would not recommend this product

After reading the other reviews I decided to give this propane smoker a try after my electric smoker gave up the ghost. It performed just like the review said it would. Excellent temperature control from 180deg to 350deg. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars for quality is that the door does not have a gasket and the back panel has a gap at the top of 2mm. I tested the thermostat and it was very accurate. All in all, a great little smoker.

Used it for the first time and it wouldn't turn off! the plastic knob just turned on the metal spigot. Really poor design that needs a better quality knob with a better way of fixing it to the spigot.

I have been wanting a smoker for a long time. I happened to see this one in a Home Depot ad. They were out of stock but they had an open box one for $30 cheaper. I have multiple sclerosis but I have absolutely no problem putting this thing together. I also purchased from another source a dual temperature thermometer that would tell me the temperature of the food and also the smoker. for the first test I loaded it with 4 large chicken thighs with skin and 1 chicken breast without skin. I rubbed them with olive oil and seasoned with salt and pepper. I used Hickory for the smoke. It took 6 hours for the meat to reach the internal temperature of 165. I added new wood chips every hour and a half. After opening the door to replace the wood chips, the smoker return to temperature very quickly. this has been an excellent experience and the meat was so delicious and juicy especially the thighs. I think this is perfect for a one to two person family. And would highly recommend this product.

I got this as a gift after spending a year trying to smoke brisket on a standard charcoal grill. My results had always been mixed and I had to pay constant attention to the process for hours on end, annoying my wife to no end. Now, I have a dedicated smoker that works beautifully, consistently and without the constant vigilant attention that had previously been required.
I'm still playing around with smoking length, temperature, wood chip type, and which rack the meat is placed on to get the best crust on the brisket and time the fat rendering as best as possible, but so far, so good.

Got this for my boyfriend for Valentines day. It was fairly easy for him to put together. It did come with a dent in the side but didn't bother us enough to return it. It was our first time smoking and was simple to figure out and turned out great.
