I received the product with a dent in the door and by the time I put it all together I decided not to go through the return process so I kep an imperfect smoker

Bought my smoker and the heating element died with less than 12 uses on it... very disappointing as I am unable to find the replacement part and have to buy a whole new smoker. I will be looking for a better quality for sure.

I am not a pro at smoking but I hate this smoker it is really bad I put a 5 pound brisket and one slab of rids could not get temp to hit 200 and the door dose not stay shut.

The smoker was easy to assemble. First time out i cooked 4 slabs of ribs, 3lbs of chicken legs, 12lb Butt Roast, and 14 ears of corn, for the 4th of July. I must say it was easy and cooked great. I used Apple wood chips and I must say the food turned out great. My guest loved the smoke flavor. The meat remained moist and flavorful. I really love the smoker. Cant wait to use it again.

Door has no gasket and also does not stay securely closed.

Wish I could register zero stars! This unit, when empty, heats up to just a bit over 200 degrees. With outside temps in the mid-60s, even when you put in only one small rack of ribs this unit cannot maintain a temperature above 175, maybe it hits 180 if you are lucky. I contacted Landmann customer service over a week ago but have had no response. Please spend your hard-earned money on a different smoker.

I love this smoker, produced smoke for over 2 hours on one
filling of chip tray, maintains about 240 when on high, ideal temp for smoking, do not use on extension cord as will not
get as hot, if you do use one with number 14 wire or 12 wire.
most extension are 16 gauge wire and will limit its heat, easy
to clean, did not have to refill with water after 4 hours,
