The smoker is well-built and looks real nice. The internal racks could be better with A center stiffener to make more ridged , they flex way to easy . My only complaint was the packaging was crammed so tight inside the smoker with the accessories that it bent 3 racks so bad they were broke and the rack support on one side was broken . The smoker is well worth the money other than the problems I mentioned.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SundaySmoker Solid product and easy to use
This is my first smoker and its worth the coin. I've worked with smokers owned by friends (cheaper models) and they don't even compare in quality. The ignition and burner control work excellent and the unit holds desired temperature with ease. The primary selling feature for me was the two drawer access which allows the user to add/change water or wood chips without sacrificing all of that good smoke in the main chamber. There is a fair amount of assembly time but its not difficult. So far I have smoked spare ribs, venison tenderloin, cornish hens and baked beans and my family/friends have enjoyed them all.

I purchased this unit to replace my Brinkman, which is somewhat identical but much smaller. I needed a much larger smoker, and the 3815 GLA had over twice the capacity. The smoker arrived in a well packed box. From unpacking to assembly it probably took an hour and half. This morning I fired it up to season the interior. My impression so far is that this is a quality product. Assembly was extremely easy and straight forward. The door has a magnet closure, which I found to be much stronger and secure than the Brinkman I had been using. Once I connected it to the propane bottle, I clicked the starter knob, and the burner fired right up. It only took a few minutes for the smoke to start pouring out. So far so good. You get what you pay for, and this smoker is many times more substantial than my old unit which cost about half as much. Can hardly wait to start smoking some salmon and ribs.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bob63 This is a good smoker
The smoker was delievered in good shape, no damage to box or contense. It was very easy to assemble and use. The one thing I would change would be to have the racks have "stops" when you slide them out. The way an oven rack does. They're a little loose and sloppy in thier guides .... it doesn't effect proformance, it would just make the racks feel solid. I've used it 3 times in last 2 weeks and am very happy with purchase.

Well made and easy to use but you have to monitor the temperature constantly !! Also smoke comes out from the sides of the door but easily fixed with a high temp gasket. I recommend you buy a wireless dual temperature thermometer (Food/BBQ) for remote monitoring !!
