Where Made

1. Where is it made? 2. What brand is the engine?
Asked by: DR
All I know is that Snap-on is so proud of their tools that are made right here I. The U.S.A and that I have purchased other products with their name on them that are made in China so I just assume that Snap-on has accepted the fact that China is making products as good as Snap-on does therefor they license the Snap-on name to be placed on those products. Having said the above, I will now be purchasing my hand tools at Harbor Freight as their wrenches and other hand tools that are made in China are affordable and guaranteed for life.

3,000-Watt Gasoline Powered Portable Generator is rated 1.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk I had this Generator and when it came to using it for the first time it put out really DIRTY power. I only connected my refrigerator and power was no consistent even after warming up. The light inside the refrigerator flickered. When I called Snap-on they told me they no longer serviced or SOLD these any more.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not happy This is a great generator, but a part doesn't work and we tried to order it to fix the unit, a month ago. So far, no part. May have to return the unit, very disappointed!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Portable Generator This generator works fine for what I use it for and that,s to get me through the power outages we have here that last for anywhere from 2 hours to 2 days. It starts on the first pull after sitting with old gas and powers the appliances like TV/Satellite, microwave, etc with no problem. You just can,t exceed the max output that,s meant to be used with it. I always let it warm up for a minute and let it it idle for 3-4 minutes after putting a load on it. No problems and compact too!!
