Customer Questions & Answers

what is the corect width of this screen?

In the spects on this screen, it says that it is only 7 ft. wide & 9 ft. high. However, in the other info , it states that to use this on a wider garage door , to use two 9 ft. wide screens. I have never heard of a standard garage door that is 9 ft. high & only 7 ft. wide. Which are the correct dimensions of this screen. My door is 9ft. wide & 7 ft. high. Thank you !

One picture shows an opening in the middle of the screen, while the other picture indicates there is no opening. Which picture is more accurate?

I would like to use this with a French door and would want it to open in the middle. Please clarify how it could be used with a French style door. Thank you.

Easy to Install Screen for The Garage is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 55.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from It will do If a standard garage door height is 7' I think the the height of the screen would need to be AT LEAST 5" longer to compensate for the loss of height when attaching the screen above the garage door. And also at the bottom for over hang. The way it is designed now, the garage door is 7' and the screen is 7'. Once the screen is attached to the wall above the garage door opening (about 3" above the opening to allow the garage door to open and close freely without catching the mesh: when using the roll up accessory to roll the mesh up.) that causes a gap between the ground and the bottom of the mesh!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Stop sending me this request for a review Stop sending me this request to review this product. It is not all I expected. It's too short. If the garage door opening is 7' the product would need to be at least 7'4" to utilize it with the hooks and rope so it can be stationary and not have to be removed when the garage door is closed it would stay rolled up above the garage door when it is closed and easily rolled down when needed. Even using the Velcro it still needs to be at least 4" longer. Also at 7' there is a gap between the bottom of the product and the ground thus defeating the purpose. The magnets in the middle were weak, and could use maybe 1 or 2 more; can not be installed on the inside, I needed to install on the outside of the door; quality loiks pretty flimsy, we'll see how it holds up; so far, I would suggest that the 'value' of this to be in the $30-$35 range, we'll see.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Got what I paid for The main issue with this garage screen is the length. I had to cut six inches off each side and reapply all of the Velcro in order for this screen to work. Also the hieght is not Long enough so I'm not able to hang it above the garage door and be able to roll it up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice product that does what it's supposed to do and... Nice product that does what it's supposed to do and seems well made. The important thing to note here is that I installed it on the OUTSIDE of the door frame rather than the inside. My door does not roll far enough back on the track to allow installation on the inside. The bottom of the door hits right at the top of the door frame leaving only 2" inches of clearance. I was aware of this before I placed the order and asked if it could be installed on the outside and received no responses. So I'm here to tell you that it can be and looks quite nice. Doing this made the screen 1/2" too narrow but I solved this by adding a 3/4" piece of trim on the side of each door frame. I installed the roll up feature but have only pulled it up once and intend to leave it down all summer. This garage is used as a home gym with shop space at the back. I have a side door toward the front so I only need to roll up the screen if I need to take something large in or out. It's really nice to have some cross ventilation form the screened window at the back. And no more skeeters buzzing my nose when I'm trying to bench press!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average use okay For limited entry and exit this would be okay but for going back and forth as a door way it needs many more magnets added to it. For just letting in air it is okay
