12 in. 7.5 Amp Electric Snow Blower-DISCONTINUED is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Should fit the bill for low snow accumulations I own a gas powered heavy duty snow thrower but recently added a large deck to my property. I got this electric snow blower to use on the deck to avoid damaging the deck, as well as to remove lower accumulations of snow. This Snow Joe 322P model should fit the bill nicely. Handling it feels rather comfortable since it's built with a handle grip mid-shaft and it's designed to glide directly on the surface. It's designed for up to six inches of snow. Instructions and assembly are easy to understand. My only immediate pause is that the instructions include how to replace the rotor, which leads me to believe it may perhaps wear out too quickly--only time and use will tell.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Surprising power, but needs a few tweaks I've had the chance to try out my Snow Joe 12 in. 7.5 Amp Electric Snow Blower a few times now, and here's what I've decided-- it's a pretty powerful little snow blower, and can handle 4+" of snow with ease, tossing it a good 15 to 20 feet. The auger even made short work of those patches of packed-down snow caused by car tires on my drive. There are a few things, however, that I think Snow Joe could "tweak," to make using the blower a more pleasurable experience. Number one-- I found I had to depress the trigger all the way up in the front in order for it to start the motor-- squeeze the trigger toward the rear and you get nothing. Number two-- the mere fact that it's corded means you have to constantly watch where you step, to avoid getting tangled/tripping on your extension cord, and the cord often pulls snow back over areas you've cleared, requiring a second or third pass. And finally (and most importantly) -- I fail to understand why this blower can't be equipped with a pivoting chute, so you can control the direction of the blown snow. This would eliminate the need to clear a path and use a "sweeping motion" recommended to sidewalk clearing. I appreciate this Snow Joe's power, the ergonomic handle, and the tool's light weight. But the shortcomings I mentioned make me give this little blower a less than hearty thumbs up.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for small areas, condos, sidewalks This powerful, yet lightweight electric snow thrower works wonderfully! I would strongly recommend this for anyone with small areas to clear - such as sidewalks, condo patios, etc. The thrower only blows the snow in front of the machine, so it doesn't clear large or deeper snow as well as a larger snow blower, with directional blower might, but it does work great at moving snow! Ideal for older persons, light snow fall, to clear a porch or patio, or city dwellers. We ended up giving this to our son, who lives in the city and needs to shovel his porch on a regular basis. It works so much better for him than a shovel! Great little machine for the price.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from pretty weak We got our first little bit of snow today, and I used this to clear my deck. The snow was VERY wet, and this little machine did pretty good. I did notice that if it hit a spot where the snow was a little deeper from me moving stuff around, it kind of bogged down some. I think it would be better used in powdery snow, not the heavy wet stuff

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Survived Our First Winter Blizzard! Thanks to this handy machine I didn't have to break my back this winter blizzard shoveling the snow. It easily cleared the driveway and deck in half the time it would take me to shovel it myself without the extra back ache. Easy to assemble and not as bulky and heavy as the more expensive snow blower we used to own that took up so much space. This definitely takes up less space and works just as well or even better, and I would definitely recommend using it on fresh snow.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product is great for small jobs This is very good for driveways as long as the snow is not too deep. It would be even better if you could direct the way the removed snow blows.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Ready in a Hurry Snowed. Looked forward to using this. Opened box. Struggled to get parts out. Came in three parts. Impossible to figure out how to delicately get it all lined up. Failed. Then saw that I needed hardware. Too cold to continue. Couldn't use. Seriously can't understand why such a relatively small piece of equipment comes in three parts that don't logically and easily snap together. Why does this have to be assembled? Cannot understand why it is shipped in parts and that it wasn't designed to snap together. Absolutely ridiculous and useless. Have no idea if I will ever bother to try and assemble it as I would have to bring the entire thing inside as to not freeze on the cold metal. Very impractical. Very disappointing

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! I like that I can handle cleaning off my own driveway without gas engines, cleaning, changing oil and the fumes. It hangs on the wall during the warm months and then hooks up to an extension cord and zooms off the snow. Heavy snows just require taking it off in layers. My neighbors ask me where I got it. My only complaints is that the rotor is made of plastic. When it hit the brick on the side of the driveway it broke. You can buy new rotors and they are not that hard to install, but why can't it be made of a more durable material?
