Assembling this snow pusher was a bit confusing at first, as there were no instructions inside as was stated on the box. The scoop/shovel has the usual round slot for a pole, but this hole has no purpose. The ice scraper slides into a slot in the back and snaps in place with a flexible plastic tab that holds the handle onto the unit.
Things I like about this shovel/pusher/ice scraper:
-metal blade riveted onto shovel seems sturdy and and cuts through the snow good (the description states that the metal strip is steel, then states that it is aluminum below that - I received an aluminum strip)
-shovel is not too heavy (3.68 lbs) and is comfortable with the D-grip handle
-it has nice 24" width to move more snow in one path
-handy on-board ice scraper when needed
-pushes ice covered snow with ease
Things I don't like about this shovel/pusher/ice scraper:
-foam grip is too far down the pole for me - have to bend over too much to reach it
-pushing the plastic tab to release the ice scraper is difficult, especially in the cold
-have doubts about the plastic tab breaking in extreme cold if used frequently
Luckily, I do not have to scrape ice often, so I wouldn't have to keep releasing the ice scraper much and the shovel should hold up longer. I do like the shovel/pusher part, though, and will probably add a foam grip that is better within my reach.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by SJMFOX Nice Snow Pusher
This dual snow pusher/ice breaker is a powerful combination. It clears heavy snow easily. The ice breaker does the job well. The only down sides I could see were the lack of assembly instructions - took a few minutes of comparing the box photos to attach the snow pusher blade to the ice breaker - and the real possibility of the plastic piece (holding the snow pusher on to the ice breaker) breaking off with repeated disassembling. You have to take off the snow pusher blade in order to use the ice breaker.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by EleEng An excellent snow pusher and ice chopper.
Over these last two day I have had a chance to really put this shovel to the test after receiving freezing rain topped with five inches of snow. The ice chopper and snow pusher worked very well. It is well designed with its folded back sides and top edges, plus bottom metal edge. As I pushed the shovel down the driveway the snow just folded back in front of shovel then I just pushed the pile over to the side of the driveway. This shovel is lightweight but surprisingly strong and can be easily switched between ice scrapper and shovel. The only improvement I can recommend would be to have the hand grip on the lower shaft be adjustable.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by a4andrew versatile, but hard to detach/attach
The idea for this is innovative. It is convenient for a person who can only carry one tool, or has the space for one tool (like a townhouse owner). It can be hard to mount and dismount the shovel part, especially if you haven't practiced it. It's even more difficult with gloves/mittens on. Having the neoprene cushion handle in the middle of the pole is a nice welcome. The plastic construct of the shovel, I do question as parts have already become white in the seams which leads me to believe there is stress there and will at some point break there. The chopper part will last a real long time though..

used twice and i like it. not sure the ice breaker is a good idea, think they could sell without the feature. when i snapped the two pieces together , it didnt make me think ill take it apart for fear of breaking the connection. if your looking for an ice breaker, buy an ice breaker.looks like it will last for a while.
