I have a large gas snow blower that I use for the driveway especially for wet heavy snow, but I wanted some thing that I get on and off the backyard rink when the snow is deeper. I have now had the thrower for 2 seasons. Easy to assemble. No mechanical issues, except operator driving over extension cord 3 times (not recommended). The thrower is light and easy to maneuver, but a bit under powered for my liking. I see that there is a 15 Amp model available (I don't know whether it was not available or I didn't see it), but for a few more dollars, I think I would be happier with being able to throw the snow 10-15 feet. I would be willing to give up the headlight as I never use it any way. I would also consider the cordless version (given my experience) but I worry about the power and duration of the charge. One small annoyance that I have is that you have to press and hold the start button at the same time you press the lever to get the machine throwing.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by snowpeg Best purchase ever. 2 years ago we got a smaller electric snow shovel and it broke at the beginning of this year. This unit takes a 3 hour job down to a one hour job.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Neelam Decent blower for small size driveways, deck and patios
Out of the box, the blower took about 5 minutes to assemble with no tools required. I just had to tighten four wing nuts to assemble the handle and then attached the chute direction controller.
This blower will not be cleaning my driveway since I already have a heavy duty gas blower but I could never use my gas blower on my 400 square foot deck and that’s where this unit comes very handy. Its light weight and extremely easy to maneuver. Majority of the material is plastic and that in fact works out great for me as it will not be scratching the stain of my deck. Auger is made of metal and so is the bottom handle frame.
Operation is very straight forward, simply plug the power cable and you are rolling. I would strongly recommend using the power cord that is graded for outdoor use.
The features I like the most are the built in 20 watt light and the chute direction control. Only the angle of the chute requires manual adjustment. I am very happy that I do not have to shovel the snow from my deck anymore. It’s a decent blower for small size driveways, deck and patios and I am all for it.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Aayan Easily portable, no maintenance required, built-in light
This snow blower features pretty much everything that my mid-sized driveway will need to clear up the snow. I do not have to have the gasoline on hand and no worries of changing oil or preparing it for seasonal storage. A good quality outdoor capable extension cord is all I need to get me going. I love the fact that it has a built-in front light. The light kicks in with an On/Off button when the auger is engaged.
Auger spinning seems powerful but that does not mean it will have no trouble lifting heavy and deep snow (12”+). A lot of parts are made of plastic and that makes it very light weight. On the contrary, that makes it very easy to handle and to move around. The wheels are 4 ¾” to be exact. To get the best performance out of it in deep snow, just work your way back and forth without pushing it too much. I don’t think it will have any trouble clearing 8” to 10” inches snow. Being able to control the chute direction from the back is a bonus, I love that. Also, the main handle is padded that provides good grip and will certainly help in freezing conditions.
I store it with handles folded. With that, it literally covers 2 cubic foot area and that’s very convenient since I have a very small garage.
I am happy that my back will be finally getting some break and I so look forward to its actual performance in coming months.

I live in Fairbanks Alaska. This is my first winter here and making a big adjustment. We had our first snow fall last week and decided to get out an shovel the snow. Needless to say that was my first and last time doing that. I decided to purchase a snow blower for the next snow fall. No more back pain for me. I purchased this product off line for $239.00 and it was the best thing I could've done. It cleared my driveway and side walk with ease. Did I mention it took care of the slush too? It is an electric snow blower and the cord was a bit annoying at times but worked like a charm. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a snow blower with great quality at such a low price. Now I'm ready for winter.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kellen Easy to use for light duty
I will start by saying I haven't had much of a chance to try this in heavy snow yet, but I think I've gotten a pretty good feel for how it handles for the task I've designated it for.
This is being used as a gift to my mother so that she doesn't have to shovel her walk or deck, her driveway gets plowed but they leave behind a strip into the garage and her walkway (and I live too far to be a good enough son to come shovel it myself). This blower works great for this purpose. It's very straightforward to operate and most importantly it does not leave behind a thick 'film' of unblown snow over uneven cobblestone (check the picture).
The swivel for the port to expel the snow is a bit tough to turn, I may need to add some lubricant, and the plastic tires are not the highest quality, yet it was light enough that even if the tires weren't engaged it just slid with little effort. The need for a cord was less of a hassle than I expected (an extension cord is not included), as it just stayed behind me as I plowed the walk, and it worked well enough on the light snow to not need to retrace my steps.
I would not suggest this for large driveways, but for a walkway/sidewalk or couple car driveway at this price I would highly recommend it over hurting your back shoveling.

This snow blower is so light, I lifted it out of the box myself. The machine was really so easy to put together. Easy to follow directions, including pictures. The parts to put it together are already on the machine, just follow the instructions and tighten the bolts needed. I put this machine together myself in less then 3 minutes. I started it right up with no problem. The sound of the machine will be easy to work with, not to load. Easy lever to control which way you want the snow to blow. It comes with a holder to keep your extension cord up off the ground and connected. Strong 13.5 amp motor will do the job of any driveway or walkway. The machine can move up to 650 pounds of snow per minute. Cuts 18" wide by 10" deep cut in the snow. The adjustable discharge chute rotates a complete 180 degrees. 20 w halogen headlight will come in handy on dark mornings. A low price point for a quality product. It is well made and should hold up for many winters. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to make this winter a little easier.
