We manufacture a variety of extension cords, with our most popular outdoor power cord being the PJEXT50-B Power Joe 14-Gauge 50-Foot Low-Temperature Extension Cord with Lighted End. At the moment, we do not manufacture a 100 foot cord. The difference in the gauge is that 12 gauge is a thicker, heavier cable than the 14 gauge. As a result, electricity can travel longer distances due to the thicker cable. Always remember, the lower the gauge, the thicker the cord, and the better conductivity it will provide over long distances. Using too thin a cable (e.g. 16 gauge) over too long a distance (e.g. 100 feet) will irreparably damage the motor due to voltage drop and overheating, and is the number one killer of outdoor power equipment nationwide. :)
Hope this helps!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by After thirty years of gas powered! Unit came boxed up. No tools needed to assemble it took me about ten minutes to assemble. Plug and play works for me. I have both a two stage gas unit and a 12" electric unit. This new unit competes my inventory of blowers for my home and rental properties. I was very pleasantly surprised by the distance of twenty feet throw of both the electric blowers. If you need a good general purpose blower this is it. For heavier three or four feet snow falls you will have to do it in layers and take your time, but it's better than fighting the much heavier equipment for all snow my snow fall needs. This both of my electric units are very easy on me, don't push it too hard. Dan December 18, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Surprisingly powerful We live in Virginia and had not had an opportunity to use our new snow blower this entire year.... until this past week when we got dumped on. We whipped out our shiny, untouched blower, plugged it in and were so excited when it handled 5" of wet, heavy snow without any problems at all. It sucked the snow right down to the concrete and blew it 15 to 20 feet away. It even handled the piled-up snow left at the end of the driveway by the plows. Granted, we had to approach this area in smaller spurts, but the thrower still did it! It took two passes to clear the entire width of the normal sidewalk, so we did our neighbor's sidewalk too. Very, very surprising. We did not expect it to handle the wet, heavy stuff so easily - but no problems at all. Kinda wish there wasn't a cord to deal with, but it is electric - so this is part of it. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product I have only used it once with 4 to 6 inches of snow. It worked perfectly on my large deck and circular drive without a problem. Easy to handle, light weight, threw to snow 12 to 15 feet and did not clog. February 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gets the job done! The snow blower requires minor assembly but it's a snap. Took about 15 minutes and it was ready. It works awesome! It can throw the snow up to 20' and it has an 11.8" depth of snow cut with a width of 21". Pretty impressive clearing area for a smaller snow blower that only weighs 34.6 lbs. The light weight also makes it very maneuverable and easy to store. The discharge chute is adjustable up to 180 degrees using the crank adjustment handle below the safety bar. The chute deflector can be adjusted to allow you to change the height of the snow being ejected. Basic features. Nothing too fancy, but it's so much quieter compared to gas and less hassle. The electric start means no worrying about a carburetor or start-up problem. Plug in and go blow! That said, I dread the day that I lose power because it will be useless. Does a great job on smaller snow falls. January 29, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not as good as I expected I have used this snowblower twice now. It is ok for about up to 6" of dry snow. It does not handle wet snow very well. I do like the instant start and no gas or oil to worry about. It does not throw the snow very far either. Light duty use only, for a light snowfall. Otherwise, works very well and easy to use. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mixed feelings This replaced a troy-bilt 1400 flurry that I thought gave up the ghost after the big snow dump on DC several weeks ago. That motor stopped after valorous performance that got me to the end of the driveway. So, I picked this to replace. It arrived quickly, and was easier to assemble, it starts easily, the chute turning rod is definitely easier, and the lawnmower-style handle is a comfortable plus for my creaky hands. Several days later we got about 4-5" snow, a bit slushy, but should be manageable for a blower this size and power. I found the size a bit awkward to maneuver, it didn't clean to pavement, and backing up while lifting the blower front slightly to attack the snow from a different angle dragged snow back behind the blower, further inhibiting smooth maneuverability, creating a new pile to the back as well as the front. I see many are thrilled with this model, and I based my choice on their reviews. I confess I am disappointed, and am considering returning this purchase. While clearing away the 1400, I discovered it started again, and ran like a champ, so passed it on to my neighbor. I regret that, because he now has a fantastic little machine. February 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Electric Snow Blower Item was ship on a wooden pallet, making less likely getting damaged. It was well pack and easy to take out. No tools to assemble. It took less than 10 minutes to put together. We had a light snow and got to use for the first time. I have the 21 in Electric and it took no time to clean off the driveway. Cut my work by a fourth. The 14-Amp Electric is more powerful to my surprise, it threw the snow over 20 feet. One nice feature is the adjustable chute deflector controls the height of the snow stream. This unit is not good with frozen snow or snow that has frozen ice on top of it. But it great for the fluffy snow. Will cut your time vs the old shovel!! January 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gets the Job Done Quick free shipping right to the door, 15 minutes to put it together and we were ready for snow. This electric snow thrower really gets the job done and this winter anything goes. Does the driveway and sidewalk in a jiff. The only issue is when the hated snow plow goes down the street. But just take a shovel and knock it into more manageable sections and it works. I would recommend this to everyone, its easier than the big gas powered blower and still gets the job done just the same. And you don't have to remember to have gas on hand. March 3, 2015
