Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by after 15 years or more I have one that has trouble charging after 15 years or more and wanted the same simple thing I had without all kinds of extra "stuff". My hygenist approves, too January 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Greatest replaceable battery toothbrush I've found I love this toothbrush. It leaves your teeth and gums feeling cleaned and refreshed and is easy on batteries. I left one of these in a motel room and tried a cheaper one out--only to find I was missing my old one. I'd very highly recommend this toothbrush to anyone who wants a good toothbrush that takes AA batteries. I like that they are easily replaced and you don't end up tossing the whole thing when a non-removable battery losses it's soup. This is the second one of these I've owned. August 30, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by replaceable batteries! I had a Sonicare Elite...I was not able to replace the battery when it died after about two years of use even with videos and expert online advice from those who are handy with soldering irons, et al. This relatively inexpensive solution was an online recommendation I read that turned out to be spot on! You can have the speed of the Sonicare (which is why you buy the brush)...you just don't have bells and whistles of later models, like a 30 second warning for each quadrant of teeth. I highly recommend this brush...the Elite brushes fit it too...and you don't have to destroy a very expensive purchase when it stops working because of the battery. June 16, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Batteries only a plus!! Read all the reviews re this unit and thought it more than met my needs as the one I was already using was also battery powered. Had seen much mentioned about problems with the battery compartment and other mechanisms fouling up from dripping or running paste, etc. coming from the head. In the beginning I was wiping as I brushed so worried about this issue but it was for naught. I use it, then rinse brush and stalk, then wipe...no problems! Far as the brush goes, it's freaky good, phenomenal, does a super job. Every time I use it I'm still amazed at how efficient it truly is. One day I'm going to Bing it and see how it was created! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful for travel I have used my Phillips Sonicare plug in toothbrush for many years, and I appreciate the alternate current charger for my work in developing countries. However, when I saw the Sonicare with batteries, I bought it to use for short trips. It is easy to pack and you don't have to worry about the charger or finding an extra outlet in a hotel room. It runs for a long time on just the two batteries, and it is easy to tuck extra batteries in a small suitcase. I find it to be just as "hard working" as my regular Sonicare, and my teeth feel just as clean. Plus, it was very reasonably priced. I am more than pleased with my new Sonicare. June 17, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Best of both worlds yet I don't know what other people's problems are product. I have had mine for a year now, and I absolutely love it.in that year I've only had to change the batteries 3 times, and have never had a problem with water leaking into the battery area or anything along those lines.the one thing I do have a problem with is that I left mine across country when visiting familyand cannot seem to find it in stock anywhere else.no chords no charging station and it works just fine for travelling. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great take along tooth brush! Bought one each for my wife and I several months ago and love it. It works as well as the rechargeable I use at home, but in a convenient take along package. Works anywhere you can pick up a couple of AA batteries. Very nice for those short or long trips that take me away from home. The only problem I'm having is that I'd like to pick up a couple more to have just in case, but can't find them anywhere. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This product is so efficient and convenient. The convenience of being unencumbered by the need for electricity and a charger is outstanding. This product provides the great cleaning attributes of the much more expensive rechargeable Sonic toothbrushes without the need for a charger and electricity. This is so convenient for me because of extensive travel. I don't have to worry about packing the charger - just the toothbrush. It takes 2-double "A" batteries which are available virtually everywhere. I have used my battery-powered Sonic toothbrush (a minimum of twice a day) since April and have not had to change the batteries yet. For me it is a great product. October 9, 2011
