As the plant grows, does it grow up like a tree or a shrub/bush?

I bought this plant and am trying to figure out how it will look as it gets bigger. I'm seen pictures of oleanders that grow with a trunk, and others that look like giant bushes. Does it come down to pruning? What can I expect of this one?
Asked by: mnw117
I have three, and once established it comes down to pruning.
