Despite the "Ceramix" in the product name the planter is not actually made of ceramic. It is some type of vinyl, and this planter weighs in at just under 5 pounds when empty.
It looks quite like stone, but is resilient and doesn't chip when knocked about a bit.
There is a drain plug in the bottom; I assume that it should be removed when used outside to keep the rain from flooding the plant and can be left in place when the plant is watered manually indoors.
For us this will be an outdoor planter, but I expect to bring it indoors during the winter.
A very nice, small planter that will look good on our patio if spring ever arrives.

I was really impressed by the look of this planter. It has a very original and ornate design. The raised roses on the outside give it an extra appeal. The color is more like a pure white with no yellow overtones. The planter is very thick and very strong and sturdy with an optional plug in the bottom that can be removed for drainage. One of the better planters I have owned.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tom3 Great looking, great quality planter
The name and frankly the look made me think these were ceramic planters. They're actually made of a thick and strong vinyl resin. The planter walls are very thick and they hold their shape when filled with very wet potting mix yet remain light and easy to move around.
The design is very nice and even from up close it's easy to confuse this with a stone planter. The material isn't fragile like clay and it can be left outdoors over winter and are UV resistant but bringing it inside a more protected area will probably prolong its life.
It looks like it holds somewhere around 12 quarts of potting mix. A rubber stopper at the bottom of the planter should be removed to allow drainage. It has a slightly different shape and rim than the 13" Rosa planter but they go great together. In the photos I've posted the 11" is the smaller one.
Very excited about how great they look and next year I'll be motivated to start my annuals earlier.
