Rated 1.3 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by I returned this product after the first use. This product had broken parts right out of the box that were caused during manufacture and not transit. It did not perform to any standard and was immediately returned to the store. February 25, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by awkwardly put together. very unusable and not powerful Sorry I bought this. Worst one I've ever bought. Awkward to use. Unbalanced. Not enough power. Vacuum attachment not designed for actually vaccuuming off of ground. Very poor design August 14, 2012
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not for a pro. Spend a little more and get something better. Bought this from HD online a year ago. So-So Machine - A hard starter. I can still start it but not always easily. It rarely runs full-out and never did early-on. Thought it would improve with break-in, but seems to be a carb problem. If I hold the throttle down and run the choke up and down to keep it running (otherwise it dies) until it is hot. When it runs full-out it probably does get the rated wind speed. The cheap gas cap completely makes this unit worthless. The cap leaks no matter how tight you seal it. The tank needs a neck to keep the opening above the gas level. It must be stored and carried with the front tilted down. Using it professionally has meant gallons and gallons of spilt gas which could have bought me a decent blower. Worse yet I've had to breath gas fumes nearly daily and my truck bed is soaked. In all honesty I haven't tried to resolve these problems with HD cust srvc,. I suppose I should have tried to find a better cap but I believe Southland is the same as Earthquake and they use proprietary gas caps (At least they do on my auger head). Incidentally I have had dealings with Earthquake Cust Srvc and would recommend them from that standpoint, P.S. It would be nice to have a section in this forum for manufacturer response.
