Is this acceptable to bury at 6" (like metal conduit), or does it have to be buried at 18" (like non-metallic raceway)? Assume only ground fill (i.e. no concrete on top).

Thanks,
Mo

Answer:
The title of this product should indicate that it is a liquid-tight flexible metallic conduit. This product would be covered by Column 3 of Table 300.5 of the NEC as an “Other Approved Raceway”. As such it must be buried at a depth of 18” unless under concrete or a building.
