Use this Southwire 100 ft. Gray 10/2 UF-B Cable as a feeder to outside post lamps, pumps and other loads or apparatus fed from a distribution point in an existing building. This product is also used for outdoor buildings such as garages and barns. PVC insulation and nylon jacketing for sunlight, moisture and fungus resistance.

Answer: 
Yes, this wire can be burried underground.
Advice is based upon the current edition of the National Electric Code. Local electrical codes may be different, therefore check your local electrical code before starting any electrical work.

Hi Dave, the short answer is yes and no. Yes you can with some requirements met.
This also will depend on your local electrical codes and what is allowed where you live.
You will need to tell your local code people how you want to use the cable. Like what are you installing the cable for.

Yes,UF is rated for 300 volts, so it is good for 220 volts. Also, the Current for two conductor is same for each leg (wire). Please keep in mind the voltage drop. Yes - 10 AWG UF-B cable is rated for 30 Amps would be adequately protected by a 20 Amp breaker. The voltage drop over 83' of wire would be less than 3% which is acceptable for most ordinary applications. Using a smaller size would lead to higher voltage drop and is not recommended.
